I walked the COtswold Way for nine days walking, 10 nights. All I had to do was put one foot in front of the other. I had good bed and breakfasts and walking solo was not a problem.

COmmunication was simple and straightforward. Minimum fuss and/or forms.

Completed walking the West Highland Way on September 10th. Highly recommended - both the walk and Mickledore Travel. We were fortunate to have perfect weather - sunny without being hot. There were two firsts for us on a long distance walk: having our baggage transferred and our accommodation booked for us. All we had to do each day was get up, eat breakfast, pack a day bag and walk, knowing that there was a room with our baggage ready and waiting for us at our destination. The b&bs in particular were fantastic: Ashbank at Drymen, Tigh-na-Fraoch at Tyndrum and, just as we thought it could not get any better Allt-na-Leven at Kinlochleven. It made the walking so much more enjoyable and gave us time to pause, where we wanted, to take in the magnificent landscape, the panoramic views over lochs and rivers. And in the latter part of the walk, mountains wreathed in morning mist which the sun gradually burned off through the day.

Well organised. Answered immediately and fully various queries I had when booking the holiday. The standard of accommodation booked ranged from very good to outstandingly excellent. The baggage transfer did exactly what it said it would. I will be booking another holiday - Coast to Coast walk - with Mickledore for next year.

we try to cone to the. Other hemisphere every year, and line to include an active component to our trips. This year we co-ordinated with our English family and all walked together. The accommodation was excellent, and the scenery superb. I can fully recommend thud walking tour to anyone who us moderately fit and likes walking and sughtseeing!

Mickledore provided us with excellent information and kept in touch up to and after our trip as good as any we have used, timely access to information excellent and comptrhensive

'The secret is in the planning' is an entirely accurate description of what this holiday gave us - and we only had to decide how far to challenge ourselves. The daily walks were well judged - with 16 miles on one day (rather than a usual 11/12, but with a back out clause!) and the B&Bs excellent, particularly Bridge House at Cawfields (Twice Brewed). Most had a pub nearby for our evening meal. We were very grateful that the planning took the worry out of the holiday and I would feel very confident about tackling another of Mickledore's treats!

I had a great holiday thanks to the team off Mickledore Travel. Everything was taken good care of. The accomodation was excellent and the holidaypacket was very good with the right info!

I've booked my train- and plaintickets myself, but if I had a question, Mickledore helped me out. Very good service!

We walked Hadrians Wall Path with a group of friends. Our individual schedule fitted our capabilities. Accomodations were very good.

Mickledore arranged our route, B&B's on our way and transportation of luggage. They provided a lot of valuable information, very practical. We had a great trip, thanks to meeting our specific wishes needs!

This was an amazing trip and a new adventure each day of the way. The C2C was harder than we expected and more rewarding than we expected with the landscape, flora and fauna changing every day. I just wished the UK would declare this an official Walk and devote some funding for better trail marking and maintenance!

All the arrangements were made promptly, as we directed and were executed flawlessly. We'd book with Mickledore again in the future!

This was our first time walking in Wales and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path lived up to its reputation - some mixed weather, wonderful scenery and hospitable accommodation.

This was our third walking holiday with Mickledore and they did not disappoint us again. Excellent service all round.

We walked The Dales Way this summer,from Ilkley to Bowness on Windermere. The walk was a great experience with the beautiful landscape of the Yorkshire Dales,ending in the Lake District with Lake Windermere. Everything perfectly organised by Mickledore. The overnight stays were very good and the transport of our luggage worked very well. The distances we walked each day suited us fine. All in all a lovelly holiday.

Helpful, experienced, and plenty of information and knowlegde about the walk. We got an excellent information folder some time before we started our holiday. This gave us time to read up on everything about our walk. Lots of practical information one needs to know about when planning a walking holiday.

It was fabulous! Mickledore provided the perfect accommodations and directions one could imagine. It didn't hurt that we had very little rain!

Perfection! This is the third time I've used Mickledore and wouldn't think of using anyone else when hiking in Great Britain. I only wish they did other countries!
