Needed to challenge ourselves by doing the first half of the coast to coast path. Got all the advice and materials we needed and whilst the quality of overnights varied we were generally very pleased.

Great walk from Holy Island to Hadrian’s Wall: beaches, castles, history and pleasant countryside. Route is straightforward, no major climbs.

Mickledore very friendly and adaptable. I always need to make some changes which never seem to cause a problem.

We walked a small chunk of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from Milford Haven to St David’s over 5 days. As New Zealanders we wanted to experience hiking UK-style and it didn’t disappoint. The scenery was spectacular and the terrain varied. Definitely a highlight of our time in Europe.

Mickledore’s arrangements were first class and everything went according to plan. The quality of the B ‘n Bs was excellent, taxi connections good and baggage transfers were well-organised and efficient. Email contact prior was prompt and helpful. Nothing but praise!

Walking holiday with baggage transfer on the Cleveland Way, we were a party of 2 at the beginning and joined by a third individual for the coastal section, the potential for confusion was high but it all worked very well.

Very helpful with good advice about things outside their remit. All of the transfers worked well their choice of accommodation was good to splendid. Their information pack was supplied in a timely manner and more comprehensive than any I've seen from other providers.

I walked Cleveland Way and was once again pretty fortunate in the weather that I had, never really more than sprinkles. Everyone I met was cheery and friendly. All my accommodations were excellent and all my bags arrived by the time that I arrived at my next destination (including the Bank Holiday). The terrain varied and the coastal portion was of course incredibly beautiful. England is a beautiful country!

It was my third trip book with Mickledore and each has been great. There was absolutely no issue came up and I had no communication with them on the walk as there was no need. I am already planning on doing a fourth walk with them next year. I always recommend them when anyone asks what company I use. And they were recommended to me by a colleague from work originally. If anything they are two consciousness as they suppled three Ordinance Maps that covered my route and I use All Trails and didn't need the maps, though of course they were nice to review at home before I left.

5 days walking the central part of the Hadrian's Wall Path with baggage transfers and overnight stays in B&Bs.

Mickledore provided us with an excellent route guide and map plus all the information we needed for the holiday. The B&Bs they chose for us were all outstanding.

We walked a section of the Pennine Way (just over 100 miles) over a week. Mickledore arranged our accomodation and baggage transfer and provided useful information (maps, places to eat etc)

We have used Mickledore for two walking holidays and have been very happy with what they have provided. Their office is staffed by real people who are friendly, responsive and helpful we are confident in their support if we ever had a problem.
