We had a brilliant experience with Mickledore walking the Hadrians Wall with our dog. Everything was planned out well and the accommodation great. We loved the route.

The information we got before the walk was very informative and just what was needed to enable a smooth trip. We had all the information we needed and they went above and beyond on a couple of queries.

Mickledore organised all the accommodation, packed lunches and luggage transfer so we only had to carry a day pack each day

The booking process was straightforward. We were given clear information about each day of the holiday including name, location and contact details for our accommodation, information about packed lunches and options for evening meals. We had one query on the holiday and after phoning Mickledore it was sorted out straightaway. We were very happy with all the accomodation provided.

Self-guided trek, Hadrian's Wall from Corbridge to Carlisle. Mickledore Walking Holidays was very responsive and knowledgeable about the trail. They always responded promptly. The luggage service made the trek so much more enjoyable because I didn't have to worry about pack weight. The lodging was on or nearby the trail. Arranged transfers (taxis) were punctual and courteous. I was so impressed that I booked another trek with Mickledore in 2025.

Mickledore Walking Holidays.

Having walked the English Coast to Coast we decided it would be fun to do the Scottish Coast to Coast. Starting in Helensburgh on the west and finishing in Dunbar on the east, it was a varied and delightful walk. Lots of lovely wildlife along the canal paths and disused railway routes, a low level walk for everyone.

We have used Mickledore for the last eleven years for our long distance walking holidays. They are an amazing company to work with, their great range of walks, high quality accommodation, organisations to move your bags between locations, brilliant communication and information (everything you need to make the walk special eg: places to visit/eateries/toilets etc... ) they really are a first class company.

Mickledore is a company always willing to help and answer any questions. Always very efficient.

Walk from St Bees to Robin Hood bay. Nightly stop overs in different villages, using B&Bs and local pubs.

Everything was organised perfectly.

We did a 5-day walk around the Lake District. The hotels, the luggage transfers, the lunch arrangements were all excellent and let us simply enjoy the walking, even if the weather was variable!

This was our third self-guided walking holiday with Mickledore and once again it was superbly organised. We spent 4 days walking the Guernsey Coastal Path which has stunning coastal scenery. We also took the opportunity to walk the coast of Herm on a rest day. We stayed in a variety of excellent hotels on or near the route. Mickledore even arranged another almost rain free holiday. We look forward to another holiday with them in the future.
