cotswold Walk with Mickledore
Our holiday was perfect from beginning to end, and everything in between. The ordering, all the accomodations, the walk in it self, all the information.

Amazing attention to detail!
We booked to walk the Speyside Way with Mickledore Travel. They organised the accommodation, luggage transfer and packed lunches, and provided restaurant recommendations en route. What an excellent service they provide! A detailed information pack arrived in plenty time for the trip.

Pembrokeshire Coastal Walk
We enjoyed a very pleasant and scenic five day walk along the Pembrokeshire coast in Wales. The towns along the way were quaint, the people were very friendly and many of the meals were outstanding. We'd highly recommend this walk.

South Downs Way a great Mickledore walk
I walked the entire 100 miles of the South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne. Mickledore organised all the accommodation and baggage transfers and made it all very easy. The Harvey’s walking map, Trailblazer book and the personalised A5 booklet containing all holiday details were very good and made planning each day a simple task. Accommodation in inns and B&B’s was clean, comfortable and good value for money. I would recommend Mickledore ...

A Great Walking Holiday
After a very successful Mickedore organised walking holiday on Hadrian's Wall in 2017 my wife and I booked the Great Glen Way Walk though the same company this year. The route follows the Caledonian Canal from Fort William to Fort Augustus and then through more challenging country to Inverness over. Overall the path is about 127 Kilometres long and we took 7 days to walk with one rest day at Fort Augustus. Walking is a great pleasure for us ...
Walking is a great pleasure for us as - we like walking - it enables a more intimate experience with the countryside than in a vehicle. Its easy to stop, rest, and enjoy the view. There was plenty of magnificent scenery along our route. Especially on the track high above Loch Ness. Away from the sweeping views the track takes you through some pretty special forests and moorlands. Signposting was very good and there is no way to get lost. It was nice having our luggage transported and that there was a comfortable room and hot shower at the end of a sweaty day (it was a Scottish heatwave), and the promise of a cool ale. It was hard work overall but worth every step.

Mickledore did an excellent job of arranging the walk and providing easy to read and understand information. Our previous good experience with this company gave us confidence that everything would be arranged and that we were prepared for the walk. There was one hitch at Invermoriston where the transport operator got a little confused about where he was to take us but this was quickly sorted by Mickledore. We have found that if there are any problems on the trail Mickledore sort these out quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Very happy to keep dealing with this company.
Thank you for such great feedback. It is lovely that you have enjoyed your walk and the fabulous views along the way. We hope to welcome you back for your next walking adventure soon.

Best of Hadrian's Wall
We had a few wonderful days with typical English weather, sun, rain and wind, everything was there. Beautiful landscape to walk through and the remains of the wall are fascinating from a historical point of view.

The accommodations and luggage transfers were well arranged, nice b&b’s and friendly people. In particular the new building at Carraw farm was beautiful. Good that you booked our evening dinner there because it is really in the middle of nowhere, but with a spectacular view over the valley. We heard from the local taxi driver that Corbridge is a nicer town than Hexham, although the Beumont hotel was good. Too bad that everything there was fully booked. That was actually our only (minor) comment.
Thank you for your feedback. Sometimes itinerary locations can get fully booked, particularly at popular times. We take a lot of care in selecting the accommodations that we use and I am pleased that you enjoyed the ones we chose for you.

We have been lucky enough to have been on several walking, cycling holidays in Europe and USA, Mickledore have so far been superior to other tour operators we have experienced, their eye for detail is uncanny! I really can't say enough about our whole Mickledore experience; we will be using their services again.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. It is great that the accommodations we selected for you and luggage transport services helped you to enjoy your holiday experience. We hope to welcome you back for your next walking adventure in the UK.
