Lovely walk. Distances (16 - 18km/day) were about right for us (in our 60s). Enjoyed the variety of scenery and pubs a.ong the way.

This was our second walk with Mickledore and they did a great job again. Luggage transport was efficient, maps, etc. were clear. B&Bs were varied and ranged from decent to excellent.

My father in law, a walking veteran of some 60 years, said this was the most beautiful walk of his lifetime. He was not lying.

My second walk arranged by Mickledore and I couldn't be happier. Co-walkers experienced botched bookings and problems with hotels. I didn't have a single issue. The B&Bs were always acceptable-good standard, some were spectacular. I could concentrate on my walking and had no worries in the world.

First time on a walking holiday so relied on good instructions which were excellent, accommodation better than expectations in most cases.

Everything as promised and kept us informed of even minor changes, although not needed felt they were available if necessary, also easy to contact with no hanging on in a queue or pressing number after number on the keypad.

This was our third holiday with Mickledore; this time walking the North Norfolk coast path. We were once again pleased by the attention to detail in planning our overnight stops, and the general information about the walk. Th booking went smoothly and we were kept informed.

We walked the Great Glen Way in August, 2018 over the course of 6 days. With such diverse sections as dense pine forests with waterfalls, open fields and scenic ridges over looking the lochs we thoroughly enjoyed every mile (even when some rain and hail showed up). The towns we stopped at where wonderful and the friendly Scottish people made the trip that much more memorable.

From start to finish our experience with Mickledore Travel was outstanding! We booked our holiday for the Great Glen Way and all communications, informational materials and arrangements (especially BnB's) were wonderful. We were in good hands all the way which meant a lot when coming over from the US and walking through Scottish Highlands. Our next trip will be through Mickledore again without a doubt.

As with many people this summer, the Coast to Coast in 16 days was a wonderful trip. Our accommodation was great, the walking and scenery was first class, enhanced by the fact we had no rain and the people we met provided great company, several of whom we have kept in touch with.

We have used Mickledore several times before and never been disappointed. I enquired about the C2C quite late and Mickledore went the extra mile (a walking pun there) to arrange things and arrange alternative accommodation and transfers where the usual places weren't available.

Our family of 5 walked from Corbridge to Brampton and stayed in wonderful B&B's along the way. Our luggage was transported and we were given a packed lunch when we left each place. We had time to stop at some of the Roman forts along the way and saw most of what's left of Hadrian's wall - amazing!

Mickledore organised everything really well and chose lovely B&B's for us to stay in. They managed to find accommodation for the 5 of us (which can sometimes be a challenge!) and sent all the relevant information including suggested places to eat our evening meals, detailed directions to each place and of course maps and guides books for the walk itself.

90km along the most impressive stretch of Hadrian’s Wall in 4 days with a dog, tailor made to our requirements. Very comfortable and friendly places to stay, seamless transition of luggage and great directions and information.

Mickledore were very helpful and put together the version of the holiday we needed.
