A guided tour of the Outer Hebrides, giving an excellent pre-planned itinerary of visits to historical sites, museums, places of wonderful natural beauty, local and unique businesses - all accompanied by a knowledgeable tour guide. Everyday was faultless in all respects.

McKinlay Kidd proved themselves to be an excellent tour operator, providing a detailed itinerary plus travel hints and tips. All forms of transport - flights, ferry crossings and local minibuses were all excellently pre-planned and the hotels booked were very good. Prompt and friendly communication at all times.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week tour around Ireland. We started in Dublin and ended in Belfast with 7 x 2 night hotel stays along the way. MK booked everything and it all went very smoothly. First class local limo tours at several stops also added greatly to the overall experience. Overall we rated it excellent value for money.

The Outer Hebrides was just amazing to visit. Beautiful and very diverse nature from island to island. Transport worked out nicely with both taxis and ferries,. We visited a lot of interresting sites and got a good understanding about how people live on these remote islands. Local people were very friendly and liked to have a chat with tourists.

McKinlay Kid always deliver 100% with a carefully planned holiday. They supply lots of useful information about the areas you are going to visit, and their local guides are very knowledgeable. It is a nice to vistit both small villages, islands and larger cities within the same holiday.

We flew to the Hebridean island of Barra, landing on the beach, and greeted by a Pipe band and a crowd of locals listening to the wonderful sound. We then spent a week touring and the Hebrides, in mostly warm sunny weather, adoring having super beaches to ourselves, with stunning scenery, delicious meals in the local pubs and restaurants., and friendly ferries between islands.

The holidays was well thought out and organised including the car rental collection, the hotel or B & B accommodation, and pre-booked ferries. We were happy with the holiday price and how easy it was to rely upon the TO to arrange this personalised trip for us.

Put themselves out, particularly when difficulties with inter-island ferries, organising last minute accommodation when threat of cancelled crossing at last minute.

Too short but very memorable time spent between Stornoway and Tarbert. Beautiful scenery and fresh air, even driving on those single track roads was interesting!

We began in Belfast with a black cab tour and a visit to the Titanic Centre. We then travelled to the Causeway Coast ,Rathlin Island and Derry.

Everything was well organised using the Vamoos App. We were quickly contacted when our ferry was cancelled, and we were booked on another one.

Despite being stranded in Shetland for a day due rot the weather ( which gave us less time on Orkney) , we had a great holiday and felt we’d really got under the skin of the islands.

Everything ( hotels, car hire, flights) was flawless and we had a point of contact with McKinlay - Kidd if we needed assistance.
