Two nights stay in an excellent hotel with the train ride as the central attraction

Great advice - good documentation - personable but professional staff who collude answer every question

We did a week long railtour of Scotland visiting multiple cities & towns. The scenery was some of the most spectacular we have ever seen & that's a tall statement from 2 people from beautiful Ireland. The people were all so very friendly & we felt so safe all the way through it.

I must say though the highlight for us was McKinlay Kidd themselves, definitely the best tour operator we have ever holidayed with & that's talking from experience having travelled to over 30 countries worldwide. The attention to detail from start to finish was unbelievable, the hotels were top class, the food was out of this world, the Chauffeurs & drivers along the way were so welcoming, friendly & knowledgeable with their history. The recommendations on our itinerary were so well thought out of & a huge help. To top it off then we had a minor issue completely of our own doing over the weekend, it was so very comforting to be able to call mckinlay kidd at an awkward hour out of office times & get an answer. Huge thanks to Chris for promptly helping us fix our own silly mistake & we were back on track again. We are planning our next trip already & we can't wait. Well done Mckinlay Kidd, 10 out of 10 for a phenomenal service.

3 day holiday in Spean Bridge. Location was just amazing at the foot of Ben Nevis. We had a trip organised on the Jacobite train from Fort William to Mallaig. Highly recommend it.

A fabulous fortnight island hopping, enjoying stunning scenery, wonderful wildlife, amazing accommodation … and the full range of Scottish weather! A really enjoyable and relaxing trip - thank you!

We had a terrific time in Scotland, driving the NC500. Ideal time to go in mid March, as we were lucky with the weather, the roads were virtually empty and we were Midge free too! MK’s guide via the Vamoos app was a godsend in informing us what to see of interest and where to go to the next overnight stop. The satnav became redundant!

We loved our Giants, Saints and the Titanic + Derry holiday booked through McKinlay Kidd. We visited Belfast, County Down, the Causeway Coast and then Derry. The accommodation was always comfortable and welcoming and sometimes quirky and stylish too! The experiences were all well-chosen and the recommendations provided made us feel like locals. We were overwhelmed by the beauty of Northern Ireland and the friendliness of the people.

I dealt with Caoimhe O'Brien, who was excellent from start to finish. She answered emails promptly and made really good suggestions. The whole experience felt very personal. I knew from the start we were in very good hands. All the documents on the Vamoos app were useful, especially advice about local restaurants, scenic drives and National Trust Properties. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

visited Orkney and Shetland . Accomodation on both islands was good .Suggestions for places to see was extremely helpful . We had such a good experience that we would have no hesitation on using this company again

McKinlay Kidd were so easy to work with .We were sent an app with a summary of our holiday ,hotels, ferry times and even suggestions of places to see which was really useful and informative . They have kept in touch throughout which made this holiday experience so enjoyable .
