The painted monastery holiday was excellent. Our tour guides (both the Mcabe and the country guide) were exceptionally knowledgeable and had researched extensively. They were both very keen to pass on as much knowledge as they possibly could but, on reflection, it was possibly a little too much for me to take in. Whilst it was good to see and do as much as possible, I feel I would have appreciated some free time or a slightly slower pace.

McCabe are a very professional organisation. Their paperwork is easy to read and instructions were clear to follow. I felt all correspondence was clear and honest and there was nothing 'hidden'.

Pilgrimage involving 5 nights at Golden Walls Hotel in Jerusalem and 4 nights at Ron Beach in Tiberias. Good guide, good hotels, good food, good coach driver; perhaps one or two churches too many.

A 10 day pilgrimage based in Jerusalem and the Galilee. Itinerary brilliant. Air travel, local guide and bus driver all excellent. Hotels well appointed for visiting the various sites. Lovely places with welcoming staff. No problems, a totally smooth operation.

This was my 20th trip to the Holy Land. I have used McCabe over the years and would not want to use anyone else.

The pilgrimage did not just enable me to journey through the Holy Land but I felt that the Land has in someways become part of me. This was an experience of an altogether deeper nature that has had a tremendous impact on me. The travel arrangements, local guide, accommodation and food, the cost of which was all included, were of an excellent quality which meant that there was nothing to detract from or spoil the experience. Canon Humphries looked after our group before and during our pilgrimage on behalf of McCabe Pilgrimages was extremely well prepared and caring. We felt very safe. I will be recommending this pilgrimage to everyone I know.

McCabe Pilgrimages provided accurate information and were very efficient. The accommodation and travel arrangements were all excellent. The company also paid attention to the small details that really made a difference such as providing a representative at our early morning departure and even free water in our rooms and light supper when we arrived. They made everything so easy that all I had to do was concentrate on having a wonderful time.

A church group tour to Israel and the Holy Land. Well organised with everything organised. Good choice of hotels, places to eat and our guide was wonderful.

A 12-day holiday led by The Veyr Revd. Geoffrey Marshall to see the Painted Monasteries in Romania. An excellent experience and a lovely and helpful Romanian Orthodox Christian Guide who spoke very good English.

This was the 6th holiday I have taken with McCabe Travel and as usual all went extremely well and easily. All the Hotels chosen were very good

Ostensibly to visit the painted monasteries and fortified churches of Romania but our guide gave us a very full introduction to Romanian history, religion, politics, arts and architecture. Comfortable coach travel and good hotels. The guide went out of his way to introduce us to local people, customs and food. The English tour leader was excellent and it seemed that everybody in our party felt the tour equalled or exceeded their expectations.

Have travelled with our tour operator several times before and their standard of performance is always very high.
