Excellent information provided - by email, documents, and by phone if any query arose during the booking and lead-in time. Staff are unfailingly polite, knowledgeable, and answer every query satisfactorily. Their contacts with local guides and tourist agencies help to ensure that the maintenance of the high standards which McCabe aim for .

One of the highlights was visiting The Painted Monasteries. I could have stayed and studied them for longer. Great architectural and painting works. Another highlight was the city of Bucharest and a visit to the People's Palace. One of the unique experiences was having a meal in ordinary people's homes, such as at the Honey House. Meeting country folk was seeing their way of life was very informative too. Every day had its own highlights in Moldova and Romania.

Everything was well organised and ran smoothly. I felt well looked after and in good hands. the holiday allowed us to do things which we could not have done as individuals. It was a happy and memorable holiday.

Lots of structure and good organisation to experience cultural and historical aspects of St Paul's second mission. We got the best out of the holiday also because our guide thought through how best to visit places which were known to be very busy with tourists. Her knowledge and understanding was a real pleasure to listen to.

Nothing was too of a problem for McCabe to be helpful towards those who are not so computer adept and lack certain resources!. They were flexible and supportive." Value for money" for the holiday was good. One could tell a lot of thought went into which hotel we could stay at and the extent of traveling, and time out for relaxation!

We had two full days in Istanbul which we found fascinating. We then flew to Izmir and travelled by coach to a number of archaeological sites mentioned in the Bible.

McCabe Pilgrimages is a Christian organisation which offers holidays with a Christian dimension to places of historic and religious significance. It is friendly and inclusive.

The land package was generally excellent, though using only 2 instead of 3 hotels in a week would have been better. Hotels were first class and food excellent. Our pilgrimage leader was someone I know quite well and having him as group leader was the main reason I signed up for the trip. The local tour leader, guide and amazing coach driver were superb and very knowledgeable. However, using Gatwick Airport was a complete total nightmare especially for the return journey. I never want to see Gatwick again.

I have been travelling with McCabe many times. All have been well organised, with good leaders and guides and the best hotels available. All the trips I've taken with them have had the same superb leader, the main reason I've chosen the particular trips. As with all tour operators there's been the occasional glitch, which was resolved as well and as quickly as possible. McCabe is a company which tries to accommodate special requests and usually succeeds very well - has good local contacts and a very good reputation especially as a pilgrimage organiser. I am happy to travel with them.

The pilgrmage was very well design using deicated tour staff. It was well balanced between spiritual and cultral aspects.

A pilgrimage/retreat on the Isle of Iona which fully met my expectations. It was very well organised in every way - documentation, travel arrangements, accommodation in Glasgow and on the island at very good hotels (especially on Iona ) and the daily programme combined excellent spiritual content with time for refection and exploration. A lovely group of like-minded pilgrims and a wonderful group leader as well as a travel company contact on hand with us. Highly recommended

McCabe's are excellent. The office staff are always on hand by answer questions and the travel documentation received from them is always timely and complete. The arrangements are fully documented and the choice of tour leaders chosen by McCabe's cannot be faulted along with a similar experience with local guides/leaders . They provide a choice of interesting destinations, combining spiritual content with sight seeing and cultural experiences

The tour guide was brilliant. The hotels and the coach were all excellent. The archaeological sites were fascinating.
