It was a ten-day group pilgrimage touring Christian holy places in Galilee, Jerusalem and the Dead Sea area.

It was our second pilgrimage with McCabe, a large group (40) that included a group from Trinidad & Tobago, whom we met at the Airport. Everything seemed to work pretty much seamlessly and on time, which was a tribute to the organisation. Our leaders, guide and driver were excellent - knowledgeable and professional. I note that on one occasion, they foresaw a potential problem outside Jericho and without fuss took a different route - we were only aware that the bus had turned around. The hotels, too, where we had stayed on our previous trip, were good as well. We have no hesitation in recommending McCabe.

I was on a pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi, with a group from the UK. On the whole, it was very well organised. We had informative guides at all the sites, and group tickets had been bought in advance, so we didn't have to queue for long to get in to places like the Vatican.

McCabe Pilgrimages operate a very efficient booking service. They were friendly and helpful when I forgot to send them details of my passport. They organised the hotels we stayed in, and all the guides and group tickets we needed to get in to places like the Vatican. I saw far more of Rome and Assisi than I would have done, if I had travelled there on my own.

A journey through Ethiopia visiting historic rock cut churches and historic sites in Addis Ababa, Axum, Lalibela, Gonder, Lake Tana and Bahir Dar.

I have been leading Pilgrimages with McCabes to various locations for nearly 20 years. They have been unfailingly friendly , helpful and supportive at all times. I cannot speak too highly of the service they have given me.I look forward to travelling with them again.

Brilliant guide, driver and tour leader helped us discover the exciting craftsmanship and ancient mosques and ruins of Persepolis, as well as introducing us to excellent hotels and delicious food in this enormous desert land.

Well-established and I have never been disappointed with their tours over the last 5 years and 7 or 8 tours I have been with them.

Our holy holiday was more holiday than holy and we were very well looked after.

McCabe have only recently gone back to Sicily and not all the hotel and restaurant choices worked. I am sure they will do a lot better next time on that.

The Pilgrimage to Greece was a fully packed trip including some memorable visits to interesting places and some stunning views of the countryside. Despite the full itinerary it was well organised with breaks and refreshments and some comfortable hotels suitable for even the oldest in the group. (I'd probably give the cultural evening of Greek dancing a miss next time, however, ultimately, even that was fun when everyone got involved despite themselves!)

McCabe gave us plenty of advance information and background material about the trip, the organisation seemed seamless and the guide provided was excellent. One felt in safe hands at all times.

My holiday was great experience. However the hotel Giotto let us down.

Our tour operator was so pleasant and organised i enjoyed her company on the tour.

Superb guide and driver, informative and enjoyable. We visited several ancient sites - Philippi, Delphi,Corinth, Acropolis, also various monasteries and churches.

Tour operator very sympathetic to aims of our tour. Hotels chosen were good and well-situated. Brilliant guide and excellent driver. Restaurants chosen were also good. Definitely value for money.

A fascinating tour of a country we know little about, learning about its history and people. Wonderful buildings!
