A very full and educational pilgrimage. We were well cared for and felt very safe travelling to all the places on our journey. Our guide was very knowledgeable and never rushed us to get to the many places we visited. I have learned a lot about the culture and politics but most of all have found reading the Bible is now so much more enjoyable because I have visited the Holy Land in person. Our meals were first class. I will treasure my memories of Israel for the rest of my life.

McCabe Tours are to be recommended. My siblings travelled the exact same Tour 4 years ago. They were able to tell me what to expect. I appreciated visiting McCabe's charity, a boys home, and given a guided tour.

We went on a trip to Greece to follow in the footsteps of St Paul. We went from Thessolonica to Corinth visiting all the cities relating to St Paul's journey through Greece. It was interesting to see the monuments in Greece but even more so to feel we were walking where St Paul had been.

McCabe is a very good tour operator and organises the trips in a very well organised and systematic way. There was a purpose about the trip that was more than just seeing the ancient sites.

I led a group of 19 on pilgrimage to Palestine/Israel with a tour organised by McCabe Travel It was a two centre holiday with different lunch stops each day. We had a busy daily programme with coach travel each day, and a brilliant local guide. So many things could have wrong - but it all come together seamlessly (more or less).

McCabes have decades of experience in providing Christian pilgrimages to the Holy Land and other destinations - and it shows. From the initail promotion of the pilgrimage, to support for the group leader, to the customised programme, choice of hotels, resaurants and visits at the destination, and local support - they are second to none.

Well organised with a guide who was very knowledgeable. A very busy holiday but we saw everything on the itinerary. We were never rushed and always felt safe. Nothing was too much trouble for our guide and he understood our different requirements.

Pilgrimage To The Holy Land

Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Wonderful experience. Great group well lead. Brilliant local guide. A thoroughly interesting and must do trip.

Visited so many places and given so much information on history, biblical stories and architecture, as well as an idea of present situation in the land.

An exciting program and an interesting guide.

It was a pilgrimage to the Holy Land where we visited significant sites in Jerusalem and Galilee. Our Jordanian guide was very well-informed and presented in an interesting and accessible way.

All aspects of the trip were meticulously organised.

We went on a McCabe Pilgrimage to Jordan under the guidance of Jane Taylor. I found the tour absolutely fascinating, Jane Taylor was a wonderful guide, and her knowledge of Jordan after living there for 30 years made it extra special. Also her contacts with archaeologists and historians in Jordan meant we were given fascinating insights into the history. It was hard work, but a trip of a lifetime.

Hotels were top class, and staff and reps were fantastic in dealing with any (minor) problems

We stayed in Jerusalem for 6nights and the on to Tiberias for 3nights Both hotels were first class, with excellent staff and facilities. The programme arranged with McCabe was well balanced with an excellent guide and coach driver. It was a pilgrimage and everyone of the group found new discoveries.. we had time to think and reflect on the History of the area, many questions are now being asked about the present day situation and we will continue to liaise with our fellow Christians out there. The contrast between cities and desert was amazing, the road network super, although the WALl is not very nice. We also balance our trip with a visit to a hospital and to a school and orphanage The weather was perfect, wall to wall sunshine, the Sea of Galilee warm enough to swim in, as was the Dead Sea, what more could we ask for Following in the life of Jesus was incredible, and our old Sunday School pictures came alive and real it is not a mystery.. A very big Thank You to all who made this a really wonderful holiday.

As the organiser, I could email and get an answer straight away. McCabe staff could not have been more helpful, there agents in Jerusalem the same. We were very well looked after..sound advice, clear instructions, and assistance made this an unforgettable pilgrimage.
