It was nine days full of visits. Appreciated all the historical, social and political information that went with the tour of the holy places.

The tour left from Edinburgh. Three of us came from Aberdeen. It would have been great if we had been offered flights to and from Aberdeen and Heathrow.

It was a trip starting in Addis Abbaba and visiting some of the rock-hewn churches and Early Christian sites.

It is a company specialising in religious pilgrimages.

This was a ten day pilgrimage to the holy land visiting many Christian sites as well as a refugee camp in Bethlehem and an orphanage in Bethany. We were in a party of 25 and had the benefit of a knowledgeable local guide throughout.

The organisation of the holiday was extremely good with, as far as we were aware, no hitches in any of the arrangements.

Learned so much about Jesus, Israel, and the current life there. Golden memories of so many things, life enriching experience. To be a Christian today, to be a Palestinian, to be a Jew, the mix of culture, faith a real part of our lives. To be welcomed alongside their journey, to understand a small part, to share. Yes, this holiday exceeded my hopes and expectations, thank you.

McCabe laid out a good itinerary, in partnership with our tour leaders, to personalise the tour. We visited 3 Church of Scotland linked projects in the Palestinian territories, a real joy to share with them. We swam in the Sea of Galilee, floated in the Dead Sea, climbed Masada and visited very many sites where Jesus went. We also discovered some Old Testament sites and witnessed the land where Jesus walked, the same today as when he lived. Old and modern intermixed, current troubles and ancient sites - this is Israel today.

An amazing pilgrimage focussing on Jerusalem and the Sea of Galilee visiting the expected sites and some extras. For us the best extra was our adventurous walk through Hezekiah's Tunnel on the outskirts of Jerusalem. The visit to Jericho the oldest city in the world with the oldest tower was the best historical experience. Our celebration of Holy Communion at Tabgha on the shore of the Sea of Galilee was very moving. But the best spiritual experience was the impromptu singing by the Tongan group while we waited for the bus to descend Mount Tabor after our visit to the Basilica of the transfiguration.

Our holiday was a wonderful experience. Our leader Rev John Cook was excellent. Accommodation in Israel of a high standard. Our guide was very informative and friendly. Our driver excellent. Overall we had a memorable pilgrimage and will recommend it.

It really helped me to appreciate at a deeper level St. Paul and his ministry, the letters he wrote and the places he visited which are such an important part of the New Testament. The group members got on very well with each other, the hotels were comfortable and we had an excellent local guide.

An excellent guide led us through classical and Roman Greece following the footsteps of St Paul. We stayed in excellent hotels placed conveniently for the sites and were given access to additional optional tours to further enhance our knowledge and understanding.
