The purpose of the tour was to listen to the music of J S Bach in the places in Thuringia Germany, associated with him at various times in his life. The ten concerts, exclusive to the tour, performed in the churches in which he himself performed, was probably the most memorable musical experience of my life.

Super efficient and informative is a brief summary. But since the tour was to listen to music, their Programme booklet - all 174 pages! - covered every aspect of the tour, day by day - hotels - even menus of meals to be eaten! - and every detail about the concerts, the performers, the concert programme, and in the case of Bach dynasty composers' cantatas, Bach's M Minor Mass, and the St John and St Matthew Passion the entire librettos were provided. All queries with Martin Randall staff before the tour were dealt with efficiently, and on the tour itself the staff guides were always available, cheerful and helpful. I couldn't recommend the organisation more highly.

The JS Bach Journey delivers even more than it promises. To see the venues and learn about the history is helpful in understanding and appreciating the music. To enjoy world-class performances of major works is sublime. To hear talks by a highly articulate and learned lecturer is an additional privilege. And to enjoy the whole week in the company of cultured and agreeable people from many countries puts the icing on the cake.

MRT is superlative, unbeatable.

Martin Randall provides top rate cultural experiences, such as the JS Bach Journey I have just been on. Charming, knowledgeable and committed staff, best international musicians, excellent lecturer and comfortable accommodation. Expensive, but very good value for money.

Always very efficient and providing an excellent experience. In my experience, no other company compares on any count.

Couldn't ask for more to be organised around art and the colour of the vote d'azur with such an enthusiastic expert like Alistair Some all done in style - what's not to like?

Martin Randall never disappoints always first class accommodation/food and your manager Expensive holiday but you get what you pay for. This was my fith experience and I want Disappointed.

I have been hugely enriched by the music of Bach for over 50 years. The choice of music and artists could not have been better. The locations were wonderful and the support and organisation by the Martin Randall staff could not be faulted.

We travelled to Thuringia and Saxony to hear the music of JS Bach in the places associated with the composer. The holiday was well organised, and the musical performances were of a high standard. The venues and churches in which the music was performed were a delight. The holiday was a truly a feast for lovers of this composer's music.

I have travelled with MRT on three occasions, and travel again with MRT in Spring 2018 to Copenhagen. The tour guides are real experts and are accompanied by specialist lecturers who are at the top of their game.
