Excellent programme and meiculous attention to detail

Small tour following Leonardo da Vinci from birth to death taking in blockbuster exhibition in Paris. Expert lecturer Dr Michael Douglas Scott who was knowledgable but relatable, a difficult skill. We stayed in four hotels in seven days and the logistics were impeccably organised

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Marc Millon as our expert guide. His expose of the food and wine we experienced was first class. He imparted his knowledge in a lovely way. we visited two lovely places - Bra and Cuneo. We could have easily spent more time exploring the whole area.

At last I can feel truly sophisticated, having been immersed for a week in the development of Modern Art on the Cote d'Azur! These are works in many cases I have known all my life, but what a difference to BE there, staying in lovely Nice and learning more every day. Congenial company and mind-blowingly stupendous meals.

We have enjoyed Martin Randall tours for years, they tick all the boxes and more besides.

I knew nothing about the painted churches of Moldavia which were beautiful and amazingly well preserved. We spent tree days exploring them and driving through splendid country in perfect weather. Transylvania, where the focus was on fortified Saxon churches and their villages was also a new experience for me . we finishes with a whole day in Sinaia in the Transylvanian Alps-- magnificent mountains and a visit to Queen Marie's summer palace, reminding us of her palace in Bucharest which we visited at the start of the tour.

We spent 8 days in Romania with Martin Randall. As usual the tour was very comfortable and well organized. The tour operator manager and the lecturer were very good, the local guide / manager was excellent. We ;learned a lot abour Romania and specifically its medieval culture. We had a very good time.

This is the second time I take a tour with Martin Randall and I will continue to use this company. They provide well-organized tours for sophisticated travelers who want to learn about art and history of the country they are traveling in. The big point for me is that they use real experts as lecturers; people who have a lot of experience, who [ublished books about the country we are traveling in. And this company really cares about the comfort of the customers.

The purpose of the tour was visit Sicily and see all of its archaeological and historical sites. With the expertise of our guide, Eireann Marshall, our aims were totally achieved
