I signed up last minute for a tour to go to Munich for four days and then on to Oberammeragau - it was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. The tour was very well organized, and the lecturer and tour manager superb. It was a most enjoyable tour.

Martin Randall Travel was our tour operator - I cannot complain about anything from the initial contact right through to the end of the tour. The arrangements were excellent and the staff amazing.

The tour consisted of 7 concerts provided by three groups of musicians in a variety of venues in the Alentejo region of Portugal. Accommodation was in Pousadas, some meals were included in the package and the rest were our choice.

We have travelled with Martin Randall Travel many times before and found they operate to a very high standard, with carefully arranged itineraries. The organisation of their tours excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient.

This was a tour led by someone who had worked on several of the gardens visited and which are of national importance. We thus had the best possible lecturer. However there were some disappointments because visits to some gardens had to be cancelled - a death in the family of the owners of one garden and road closures that made it impossible to get to others. Nevertheless these last minute problems were well handled by the tour leader and tour manager.

I have travelled with this tour operator on several occasions and only once had a lecturer that was not excellent. (Unfortunately that lecturer does a large number of garden tours.) Otherwise I have always found the lecturers engaging well with the subject of the tour. Hotels are always good and the operator will make alternative arrangements for return flights if one want to prolong one's stay.

Music festival included world class performers, a varied but thoughtful and well-integrated program, incredibly beautiful and historically relevant venues, and additional talks, walks and tours to complete the experience.

Pulled off an extremely complex itinerary incredibly smoothly. Handled the inevitable unforeseeable challenges like the pros they are. And all the while extremely personable, accessible and helpful.

Polyphony in Portugal, devised by Martin Randall Travel, was a rich musical experience of the highest quality, and introduced us to an unknown, unspoilt area full of character and historical interest

The latest was 6 days in the rural depths of eastern Portugal with a feast of glorious Renaissance Polyphony performed by the leading singing groups for this type of music. Martin Randall staff created and managed a complex programme of events for 110+ participants staying in 3 different locations.

No other organisation has the creative talent and organisational skills to bring off a music festival such as this

A wonderful holiday giving people the chance to experience concerts by 3 very different choral groups in a series of unique settings. An excellent combination of high quality accommodation, food and wine.

Excellent staff who are able to respond to any unplanned event to ensure that these are dealt with swiftly. Excellent organisation throughout to ensure participants are able to relax and enjoy the wonderful experience planned by the unique itinerary.

Private Grand Houses of Norfolk. Had five private visits where shown round by owners. (Properties not generally open to the public). Wonderful to see how the owners had adapted historic houses to 20th century living, and the level of conservation undertaken. Very interesting to obtain background and knowledge from our architecture specialist and the owners on how they were funding major conservation and preservation projects. Lovely hotel and good food.

Martin Randall provide well organised and interesting specialised holidays. Their experts are knowledgeable and can communicate their knowledge well. They are good at answering questions. There is always something special in the itinerary that makes their tours unique.They choose lovely hotels with good facilities. Booking is easy and staff friendly if you have a query. You know you are getting the best.

A fabulous 5-1/2 day tour through historic countryside estates.

Martin Randall provided an excellent guide and expert lecturer. The hotel and food were everything we expected. Very good value and such memorable experience.
