We stayed on three islands - Grenada, Union and Bequia - visited and had a tour, lunch and swim on Cariiacou and sailed for the day to Mustique. We used seven different kinds of vessels for our journeys and enjoyed them all - a highlight was Bequia to Mustique on the Friendship Rose, a schooner which had been built on the bay on which we were staying in the 1960s. We experienced the profusion of tropical vegetation in our garden visits, especially on Grenada and loved being able to swim, shiver free, in the seas from idyllic palm fringed sandy beaches.

Kudu Travel provided us with a formidable guide who was a perfect ‘fixer’, expert in many fields, as well as an energetic and friendly travel companion. The company is experienced in travel in these areas and we benefited from their thorough knowledge and acquaintance with so many of the service staff on the trip.

We had a very wet start, but I am learning that lush tropical islands do get a lot of rain! The scenery, once visible, was stunning, reflecting its young volcanic history. The people are friendly and knowledgeable, the accommodation comfortable, even luxurious, and the food, a mixture of french and Creole cuisine, was very tasty. We had a good sampling of the geology, industries, history and biology of the island, in our tour around the coast and up into the cirques.

Kudu is a small, very friendly company, and on every tour we meet people we have seen before. We are like one big happy family, yet always welcoming new faces.

Following in the footsteps of Patrick Leigh Fermor, famous travel writer, we visited the places he had visited and written about 60 years ago. Some of these places have hardly changed in the intervening years. An interesting experience.

I traveled with Kudu Travel to Greece, in the footsteps of Patrick Leigh Fermor. It was one of my best travel experiences ever. The level of their service is outstanding - the choice of hotels and meals excellent, the tour guide well informed and pleasant and the walks through the countryside absolutely beautiful.. i loved the small towns we stayed in - truly "off the beaten track.

Two interesting days visiting the MFA and enjoying the historical sights of Boston, rounded off each evening by very good food. Very exciting boat trip whale watching off Providence on Cape Cod. Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are very individual islands worth exploring to see the unusual architecture and cobbled streets. Very good shopping opportunities on the islands. Some beautiful walks along beaches, through sand dunes and salt marshes providing opportunities to see some migrating birds and interesting plants. Altogether a very interesting mix of activities. The area around Chatham was lovely, picturesque harbour area and a seal watching trip provided good variety.

Kudu Travel is a long standing company offering well organised holidays with knowledgeable leaders. They provide unusual accommodation and put a great deal of effort into making each holiday memorable for their clients many of whom have remained loyal to the company for many years.

A tour of Finland with wonderful walks, music,food and wine.. Best tour I have ever been on.

Teresa and David own the company and do thorough research of all aspects of the trip. My friend and I were the fortunate recipients of their research and personal care.

As usual with Kudu it was well planned, with an excellent guide, good hotels and excellent meals. The walking was good and the flowers wonderful.
