A week in Finland, taking in 3 concerts at the Kuhmo music festival and two operas at the Savonlinna festival. A trail walk through a forest area with great views over lakes & woodland.

It was exactly as above. Some serious walking in quite stunning surroundings with interesting visits to see, for example, petroglyphs and how felt is made for yurts and household items.

I have travelled with Kudu for over 20 years and they are always excellent. This year's trip was no exception.

We travelled through the beautiful landscape of Kyrgyztan, soaking up its unique atmosphere. A brilliant mixture of walking, eating delicious food and staying in very comfortable and interesting places with a lovely tour guide, drivers with nerves of steel and like minded company.

Kudu are small, highly expert in researching and leading walking and cultural tours.

Just spectacular scenery and sites and an incredibly knowledgable and personable guide who knew every single wildflower!

Although I couldn't do most of the walks, having an injured leg, I had interesting alternatives, and certainly enjoyed the historical and cultural aspects of the country, in three varied locations.

We have now been on 14 Kudu holidays, and have always found them friendly, competent and able to find interesting activities beyond the everyday tourist attractions.

The holiday was a very enjoyable mixture of walks, bird watching and flower spotting, sightseeing, and exploration of some of the many prehistoric sites.

Kudu tours are always unusual, interesting and well organised.

Guided 10K walks each day along the flower filled paths of the mountainsides of Corfu with an expert in flowers including orchids and a small group of companions. Gourmet meals with wine each evening - all inclusive!
