Temples and Trails of Burma by Cragrat, 8 Mar 2016

A superb holiday, full of interst and pleasant surprises, with able and competent staff in the UK and abroad

The holiday ran smoothly from start to finish, and the trip provided a great opportunity not only to see many stunning sights, but also to visit craft workshops, see the traditional way of life, and stay with the local populations in villages away from the main tourist trail. All accommodation was either really good or outstanding, and was just as expected.

I have known KE Adventure from several previous trips, and know that they can be relied on and trusted to provide a good experience. Their organisation at home and abroad is first-class, and in my opinion KE is an ethical company that cares for and respects the environment. The do not pull any punches in the literature so your experiences match or surpass your expectations. I'll have no hesitation in travelling with them again to remote places, and will always recommend them highly to others.

Holiday of a lifetime - exceeded every expectation

I recently returned home from my New Zealand North to South trip with KE Adventure travel. The trip was a life affirming and life-changing experience. My flights back to New Zealand are already booked for later this year. Not only did the trip enable us to so much of a wonderful, varied, exciting, vibrant country but the trip leaders were so passionate about sharing their knowledge of the geography, flora, fauna, history and culture of the nation...

My flights back to New Zealand are already booked for later this year. Not only did the trip enable us to so much of a wonderful, varied, exciting, vibrant country but the trip leaders were so passionate about sharing their knowledge of the geography, flora, fauna, history and culture of the nation. I arrived hoping and expecting I would have an amazing time, and I did. But I left wanting to change career and become a guide, working and living in New Zealand. I've always enjoyed going on adventure holidays, but it was this one that made me take steps to actually do it. I cannot rate the trip and the experience highly enough. Count me in for more!

Rating for tour operator:

KE Adventure - exceptional at providing good customer service right from information provided in the website and brochures, through to booking, through to pre-trip information and then, through Adventure South in New Zealand, excellent guides, leaders and support throughout the trip itself.

Mount Toubkal in Winter by Nesa, 2 Mar 2016

Outstanding Mt Toubkal Winter Climb

I had an excellent 8 day holiday to Morocco to climb Mt Toubkal in winter. It was amazing value for an (almost) all inclusive holiday. Our local guides were fantastic, we travelled at a good pace and they were friendly and keen to answer questions about their country & culture. The food was very good and plentiful!

KE Adventures provided excellent customer service when I called them to hire some gear. The joining instructions for the trip were easily understood. KE Adventures choice of local guiding was excellent. The large red kit bag has proved useful on subsequent trips. I will definitely use KE Adventures again and recommend them to others.

Brilliant two centred snow shoe holiday in the Canadian Rockies and Yellowstone National Park

The first half of this 13 day holiday was spent exploring the alpine terrain of the Canadian Rockies. We then drove through very interesting countryside to spend the remainder of the holiday exploring the geology of Yellowstone National Park. The accommodation was more luxurious than other snow shoe holidays I have experienced and enabled us to have personal space. The length of snow walks varied with a couple of long days which were stunning. The guides were competent, confident, good fun to be with and shared their love of the mountains. An all round excellent taster leaving us wanting to go back to explore both areas in greater detail.

We booked just a few weeks before departure and all contact with the tour operator was effective and efficient.

Wet wild and weary in Dominica

Dominica is a fantastic little country, just 30 miles long by 15 wide, consisting of steep volcanic mountains covered in jungle. Yet they have a cross country hike that is amazingly beautiful. It's wet, steep, slippy and tough walking, but very worthwhile. You will need an organised trip and driving is hard due to lack of good roads and road signs and tricky trail conditions.

KE Adventure Mount Toubkal Winter climb

8 days in Morocco winter trekking in the High Atlas including summiting Mount Toubkal. Accommodation was hotel based in Marrackech, and gite and mountain refuge in the mountains. All accommodation was to a good standard and all meals were provided and these were also of a good standard. Guides were excellent, the group was all of similar ability so we were able to ascend without much waiting around.

Amazing fixed camps; delicious and healthy, fresh food at every meal; authentic Moroccan tea on tap; super helpful support team; the best guide ever! Hassan was a dream and I can't praise him highly enough - he was the highlight of my trip with his enthusiasm, knowledge and genuine care. He helped the group gel, kept us all on track, told jokes, kept us informed of plans each day and was happy to help with anything we needed. I also loved the elements of the organised trip that I wouldn't have got had I gone independently; the trip to a local spices shop with a short talk on different spices and their uses/health benefits; horse and carriage ride around Marrakesh after the final group meal; seeing the largest palm grove in Morocco etc. I would recommend this trip (and any with KE) to anyone, regardless of ability or previous experience and will definitely look to book another adventure with KE in the very near future!

KE were fantastic, keeping me informed through the months leading to my trip, with local information, contact details and updates.
