A walk on the wild side - Mount Kenya ascent

A wonderful trekking holiday in Mount Kenya National Park to the summit of Point Lenana (4985m). The trek, via the Chogoria route, revealed the spectacular scenery of Mount Kenya and the diverse flora and fauna of the area.

Walking the Albanian Alps by Sally B , 3 Oct 2016

Stunning scenery, invigorating walking, and fascinating history

We had lots of time to view scenery - when the clouds lifted - and to stop off in makeshift cafes or local homes to refresh ourselves with turkish coffee, soft drinks and local delicacies en route. The family run guest houses where we stayed were quite basic, but very welcoming and comfortable - most had open fires. We enjoyed home made food (and sometimes raki!) which was plentiful and tasty - lots of home produced eggs, cheese, and vegetables as well as bread, pancakes, honey and other delights. The walking was topped and tailed with enjoyable nights in the historic towns of Skodhra (Skoder) and Kruje where we stayed in good quality hotels, ate very well and had great opportunities for cultural sight seeing and shopping - as well as a welcome chance to get out of the walking boots!

One Week Mount Toubkal Trek by Souk, 3 Oct 2016

Mt Toubkal Trek with KE adventures.

This certainly was one cool adventure. It was a 8 day treking/camping holiday to climb to the summit of Mt Toubkal. It was hard work with many early starts and long treking days but the rewards of the views made it all worthwhile. We had a fantastic cook who produced meals that would have graced the tables in some top class hotels...........only he did this in a small tent every day whilst on the trek. We had a fantastic cook who produced meals that would have graced the tables in some top class hotels...........only he did this in a small tent every day whilst on the trek. This puts my cooking & meal preparation to shame. You need to be very fit to fully appreciate this kind of trek but you will be rewarded by a fabulous feeling of achievement following summiting the tallest of the Atlas mountains. Our Berber guide did us proud by being funny, professional, kind and very patient. What a fabulous trek that will leave lasting, good and life changing memories for me.

Trails of the Amalfi Coast by Neil B, 1 Oct 2016

Vesuvius, Pompeii & the Amalfi coast. wow

Amazing holiday with spectacular scenery, great walking tracks. Visits to Pompeii & Herculaneum are well worth a visit alone with a trip up to top of Vesuvius where you get great views of the Bay of Naples & surrounding areas.

Rating for tour operator:

From booking, to arranging flights and finally travelling on our trip KE have been great. Tons of useful information helped me prepare for this trip and I feel that the trip was ran in such a way that our group was able to help the Jordanian tourism industry in many places that have suffered with the decline of tourism in recent years as a result of the conflict in Syria.

Across the Julian Alps to Trigla by petersummers99, 26 Sep 2016
Holiday Rating:

I thought that it would be great but i didn't realise it would be that great!

6 days of trekking in the Slovenian Julian Alps culminating with summiting Triglav. Expertly organised prior to departure then when we were there absolutely top class: guides that went way beyond, a route that was challenging but not exhausting and a country that I would advise anyone to visit.
