We hiked the Amalfi Coast from Amalfi to Sorrento with three other couples. The combination of great organizational skills from On Foot Holidays, beautiful towns, stunning views whilst hiking, comfortable hotels and an abundance of great restaurants to enjoy made for a magical week! Can’t recommend this company highly enough.

My wife and I did a 5 day self-guided Walk along the Siren coast in Italy, from Amalfi to Sorrento. The walk, organised by On Foot Holidays, included pre-booked hotel accommodation and luggage transfers from hotel to hotel in Amalfi, Praiano, Positano, Sant' Agata and Sorrento. With a small daypack and bottle of water we walked around 12 to 16 km each day along old walking tracks enjoying beautiful scenery, undulating terrain, flora and fauna, with stunning views of the coastline, stopping each day in a different village. We enjoyed good food and wine along the way.

The holiday was well organised by On Foot Holidays. They provided accurate and good reliable information including maps, mobile phone app with GPS and plenty of useful information about each place and about each part of the walk. Everything went to plan making it easy and enjoyable. Back-up and support was readily available through local contacts if needed. Accommodation and food was as expected.

Thank you On Foot for a wonderful holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our Amalfi coast walking holiday. While the walks looked daunting in the beautiful mountainous area we 60 year olds managed the steps and climbs with relative ease.The distances around 10-15 km were about right given the terrain The maps and detailed daily walk notes were excellent and easy to follow. We were so impressed with the standard of the accomodation offered which gave us a wonderful rest and Experience after a hard days walking.A rest day to experience Positano which we added in was a great idea. We were disappointed with Sorrento after the other towns.We would not recommend an extra day here at the end. We will certainly use On Foot again.

On Foot were very professional in all our dealings with them even across the distance from Australia to Uk. Everything went Like clock work with an excellent package of maps and notes arriving before we left home.

On Foot Holidays did a fabulous job with all of the planning and logistics! The hike instructions were extremely detailed and accurate. The lodging was wonderful and all of the local transportation they arranged came on time and was easy to find. The entire team provided exceptional customer service and we will definitely use them again.

This was a self guided hiking tour where On Foot Holidays provided detailed hike instructions and we had a local contact we could call if we had any questions. We did not need to call the local contact for the duration of the 6 day, 5 night trip.

Trip was a lot of fun and a great way to see Amalfi coast. We really felt we covered a lot of territory and had a good feel for the area after. Accommodations were great and we had an amazing time.

Another On Foot Holiday in Italy. Planned to perfection, accurate route maps down to the tiniest detail. The hotels were varied and all very comfortable. On Foot kept us up to date with any route changes - a landslide for example - followed promptly by the new route map. The routes were interesting walking through vine yards, lemon groves, little villages, up hills, through rocky paths. A perfect holiday experience without any hitches (as usual). On Foot Holidays have a well informed office, we were able to speak to members of staff who have walked the route and therefore can answer any questions which enables us to adapt the walks as necessary.. Another FABULOUS holiday with On Foot Holidays. We'll be back.

We found the On Foot Holidays on the internet as we wanted to walk the Amalfi Coast. With our bags taken care of, the reliably written notes directed us over mountains, on mule paths, into fabulous towns and we were well cared for in the chosen hotels. Views which far exceeded out expectations appeared out of nowhere while we navigated our way through fern forest, many steps, abandoned churches, fresh flowing water and the welcoming piazzas on arrival at our end of day destinations.

We were kept informed with all arrangements on an on-going basis e.g. when there was a change of route, we were informed with alternate signage and routing. There was a chance of the train timetables being interrupted (which didn't affect us in the end) but we received plenty of information via email before our departure from home, with alternative options for our planning. Efficient and very helpful service was our experience at all times.

We had a wonderful walking holiday on the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsular. Detailed directions from 'On Foot Holidays', along with many helpful options, maps, booklets and bus and ferry timetables, meant that we could be confident with our adventures each day. Accommodation arranged for us by 'On Foot Holidays' was excellent, and luggage transfers went without a hitch.

we were on a self guided walking holiday, just the two of us, and were extremely impressed with the information given to us - the details on how to use the trains, buses and ferries to get from the airport to Amalfi, the very detailed walking notes which meant that we had no problems at all in navigating on a whole day's walk, also we were given alternatives - shorter and longer options for walking, or if we didn't want to walk at all, bus numbers and timetables and ideas of places to visit. we have done several of these self guided trips with other tour operators and this was by far and away the very best we have had
