Self guided, multi centre winter holiday in Switzerland

It was a very comprehensive tour with many organised excursions together with a few free days at significant locations. Virtually everything went to plan and we had an excellent tour guide who was knowledgeable and approachable. Travel was by organised rail and coach, and went to plan. Best holiday I've had to date, and would recommend it to others.

Great information and support beforehand and whilst on the trip

Oslo to beyond the Arctic circle, The Northern Lights was always going to be enticing. The lights may not have been fully switched on but the other experiences were excellent: Munch Museum, Oslo; Trondheim Cathedral; crossing the Arctic Circle; ferry to Lofoten Islands; Viking Museum; Thomson Troll museum and Arctic Cathedral;; Polar Park en route to Narvik; Jukkasjarvi Ice Hotel was the icing on the cake!
