Ffestiniog Travel. Prompt in responding, friendly staff and everything went smoothly.

It was very well organised by Festiniog staff. The tour manager was very knowledgeable about the Harz Railway system and helpful in planning individual trips or providing escorted trips. Very friendly and helpful staff at hotel in Wernigerode. A very enjoyable holiday and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Ffestiniog Travel a company I hadn’t used before but certainly will again. They were helpful when I had to change arrangements accommodating the changes with no problems.

The whole experience from beginning to end ran very smoothly and the bespoke itinerary was exactly as requested. Festiniog took our basic requirements and prepared the tour information, then completed the hotel bookings and train ticket purchases.

We travelled by train from Paris down to Lyon then on to Nîmes, Arles and finally Avignon. Ffestiniog had booked all trains and hotels. The hotels were excellent and conveniently positioned for local sites and onward travel.

Kate from Ffestiniog arranged everything for us. She was attentive to detail and helped us decide on options. She also arranged flights to and from Paris and Edinburgh, explaining Easy Jet’s policies and their different ‘extras’. The hotels she suggested turned out to be a delight and the travel was quick and easy to manage. She provided handy hints and updates re timings etc. We had

2 weeks of travelling in Germany by train and tram. It was well led by tour leader Ray whose knowledge of the tram systems in Germany is immense.His daily programme of events was well planned in advance.

The Snowdonian was an excellent way to see N Wales. We were blessed with wonderful weather which was a blessing. Well organised.
