Another great trip to an amazing country

A 12 night self-drive safari to introduce our daughter and son-in-law to the amazing landscapes and wildlife of Namibia. We stayed in a variety of good quality lodges where we were treated extremely well by helpful and friendly staff.

Rating for tour operator:

We have travelled with Expert Africa on a number of occasions and have always found them to the extremely friendly and helpful when developing an itinerary that suits our needs. The booking process is very straightforward. On this occasion there was an issue over one of the bookings which came to light during our trip. It was not the fault of Expert Africa however they dealt with it promptly and efficiently.

Beautiful Namibia

We took a Namibia road trip exploring the Naukluft Mountains, the Namib Desert dunes and then onto Etosha National Park for some game viewing. It was magical and whether watching the sunset across a sand sea, the Atlantic breakers hitting the wrecks of the skeleton coast or Black Rhino at a waterhole our memories will last us a lifetime.

Expert Africa helped us plan and organise a superb holiday and given that we needed four flights, a hot air balloon, kayaks, a four wheel drive hire car as well as numerous hotel bookings to complete they did a great job.

Trip of a lifetime

An African safari had been on my bucket list for a long time and this trip didn't disappoint. The camps, the people, the experience was all I could have hoped for and has given me great stories that I can share for a lifetime!

I had no idea where I wanted to go - which country, park, camp and Nick Hobbs at Expert Africa was phenomenal. He was able to make recommendations that turned out to be perfect for us.

A fantastic trip in Kenya, organized by Expert Africa

Our family took a 9-night safari trip to Kenya in July 2015. We started planning LONG in advance, and I worked over email with Richard Trillo of Expert Africa. He did an outstanding job of not only listening to our interests, but providing feedback that allowed us to adjust our plans - he worked with us very well. The trip itself was excellent, and the different parts (airport pickup, 1st night in Nairobi, transfers, safari camps) were stitched together seamlessly. We spent four nights in the Lewa Conservancy (Lewa Safari Camp) and four nights in the Mara North Conservancy (Elephant Pepper Camp). We were very happy to have visited these two different regions of Kenya, and were completely satisfied with both locations: the staff, the site, the guide, the game drives. We also enjoyed the village visit at Lewa.

Tailor-made Botswana Safari by Robstar, 2 Aug 2015

African Adventure Holiday in Absolute Luxury!

Nearly two weeks travelling around and going on Safari in Botswana, in the Delta and the Chobe River and National Park was fantastic. We stayed in excellent and very comfortable safari camps and on the Zambezi Queen. All the transfers were well organised, on time and easy to find. Against the backdrop of chaos in Africa out tour was well organised and ran like clockwork.

Another wonderful African experience

Our 18th trip to Africa - each one a delight! We were returning to Tafika for the third time, which speaks for itself and visiting Nkwali for the first time - we would certainly choose to go there again. Accommodation, hosting, guiding, food - all of the very highest standard. We had a wonderful time!

We have travelled many times with Expert Africa because they always visit the camps listed in their excellent brochure and therefore have first-hand knowledge of the area and facilities. Everything is handled professionally and efficiently and with great attention to detail.

Our trip was perfect - from pickup at the airport in Livingstone to drop off at Likoma's airport for our journey back to the States. This was our fourth trip to Africa & we have been on multiple safaris prior to this trip, but we were still blown away by the animal viewing & the entire experience. The walking safaris were amazing & we loved that we rarely saw other vehicles in South Luangwa & that the area seemed unspoiled. Ending our holiday on the beach at Kaya Mawa was the perfect way to end an already perfect trip!

Rating for tour operator:

Because of Expert Africa's planning & the confidence they instilled in us during the planning process, we were happy to just show up & go with the flow! We really liked that their website provided balanced reviews of each lodge so that we could make the most well-informed decisions on where to stay. The agent we dealt with was Claire Scott & she was wonderful - really responsive to emails despite being on a different continent & she was also available to chat with by phone. I feel she really listened to our likes/dislikes & as a result, she was able to put together an amazing trip for us tailored to all the things we wanted out of the trip. And our expectations were far exceeded.
