In January, 2016, I made what was probably my 30th visit to Africa since 1974. I have retained many land operators in many countries in West, Central, East, South, and North Africa. Expert Africa is exceptional. Highly professional, no pressure to buy anything - simply a profound concern for the traveler's happiness.

We have just returned from a two week, four centre, holiday which was arranged for us by Richard Trillo of Expert Africa. The holiday was outstanding in every respect. We had met with Richard to discuss what we wanted and he tailored the holiday to perfectly fit our desires.We were most impressed with teh camps he chose for us and the attention to detail, right down to having our own personal driver for our last day in Nairobi, recommendation of restaurant for lunch, etc. Every details had been thought through and worked seamlessly. If we go on safari again we would always come to Expert Africa.

Our tour operator's knowledge of Kenya is comprehensive and with the choice of so many camps we could have chosen to stay in, he guided absolutely to the right choices but left the final selection to us.

A group of us travelled to Rwanda to visit the mountain gorillas. Expert Africa did a wonderful job of helping us organize this trip and all worked out beautifully. I will highly recommend this company to friends.

After listening to what I wanted Expert Africa put together all the separate elements (hotels, bush-camps, transfers, flights, etc) of my trip into a seamless wonderful experience. I stayed in 4 different places with varying degrees of luxury but the main purpose of my trip - wildlife viewing on safari - was exactly what I had hoped for. Knowledgeable guides helping me understand animal behaviours.

I've travelled with Expert Africa a few times before so they know my preferences and where I've been before. They still took the time to discuss with me what I wanted from my recent trip and then gave me a number of options that I could look at on their extensive website. This made it easy for me to choose. Once the bare bones were in place, the agents local knowledge was invaluable. He was able to make a number of very helpful suggestions such as places to eat close to the airport on the evening of my return home.

We chose to visit Tanzania in the wet season which due to greater rains than usual created unexpected challenges which Expert Africa dealt with in their usual efficient manner. We visited 2 safari camps and 1 'R&R' camp and had an overnight stop over in Dar on the outward journey and a short break in Dubai on the homeward journey. We had a fantastic trip - all the camps we visited were of a very high standard of accommodation and service. The guiding and driving at the safari camps was very good especially considering the terrain had been devasted by the unusually heavy and prolonged rains and game viewing was made harder by the long grasses and dense foliage. We had a fantastic holiday and cannot wait to repeat the experience.

We have used the Expert Africa on many occasions and have never found another specialist Africa company that can match their in depth knowledge of the Continent. There is always someone at Expert Africa who has visited the destinations that we wish it visit ( and we do choose some very off beat places). They have such experience and knowledge and like to get to know their clients so that are able to give suggestions and advice which is very personal . We cannot praise Chris Mc Intyre and his team enough. We have and will continue to recommend Expert Africa to anyone who wants to see the real Africa.

We had done some research before contacting Expert Africa.They were very helpful in giving advice to help improve our initial planning. We had wanted a fairly leisurely trip while at the same time seeing much of the country. Expert Africa understood what we wanted and the advice they gave allowed us to have a fantastic trip.

Drove several thousand kilometres on mainly excellent dirt roads. Experienced a huge range of magnificent desert scenery, the highlight being the dunes at Souussvelei. Stayed in middle-range (occasionally high end ) lodges which were very comfortable, with good food and charming and helpful staff.Thoroughly enjoyed the solitude of the roads ( one other car per hour, virtually no settlements) which we shared with the occasional springbok and oryx and the very occasional bird of prey.And the sun! A relaxing, energy-giving and inspirational holiday.

Very approachable, knowledgeable people in London who were painstaking in their preparation of our route , car hire and accommodation arrangem,ents. They had a charming and very effecient agent in Windhoek.

Our second trip with Expert Africa. The efforts and help from the team at Expert Africa were outstanding and , without reservation, I would recommend the organisation to anybody wishin to have a trouble free holiday in Africa. We cannot praise them too highly.

Superb. Organisation with excellent staff who have all had experience in South Africa and applied that knowledge to making the holiday a memorable experience.

A three week self drive holiday expertly organised by Expert Africa, seeing virtually all the animals we hoped to see and more. As a keen photographer it surpassed all my expectations. Charming and happy people. Easy stress free driving on empty roads. Comfortable Lodges with helpful staff.
