Two centre safari holiday in Zambia for a family of 4

Expert Africa where given a brief covering activities required, accommodation requirements and price. They delivered 100% on brief. The expertise at point of sale was deep. The expertise of the company was recognised by the camps we stayed in. The development of the itinerary was easy and the company was very flexible and pro-active in suggesting alternatives. There was no sales push. The holiday met the brief 100% and all the ground arrangements and meeting/greeting were excellent. A top class operator.

San Francisco to Amsterdam to Johannesburg to Victoria Falls. Sunset cruise on the Zambeze, Hippos and more. Gorge Swing... Still holding my breath. Rafting the lower Zambeze at flood stage, Simply amazing. 2 days in Chobe at Muchenje, More Elephants, Cape Buffaloe and Giraffes than you could count. 3 days at Okuti / Moremi, Lions were the morning wake up call and Leopard cubs on display for the appetizer for our lunch in the bush. Amazing cultural experience by the best Safari staff. Shinde Camp. Another 5 star camp with Mohagany floored tents "tents" Really! More big cat experiences daily. The Okovanga Delta is African Safari on steroids. Loved our trip!

Maruska Adye from Expert Africa booked the trip of a lifetime for us in Botswana. The Kerr Downey Safari operators they chose were over the top in accommodation, service, game viewing and cultural experince. Muchengie, Okuti and Shinde camp offered the exact Safari experiences we desired. They could not have picked a more perfect time of year for great game viewing at to the locations we visited.

I had a range of safari experiences that I wanted to cover - wild dogs, black and white rhinos and leopards - along with the mainstream sightings of lion, cheetah, elephant and the range of antelope and plains animals. I ticked all of these boxes. I also wanted to experience, in particular, the desert scenery and environment of Namibia and the Kalahari and I covered all of those bases in style. The majority of my travel attracted four to five stars with a couple of areas coming in a little lower and at the end of it all there was only one lodge/area that I thought struggled. Not a bad result when after all TIA (This is Africa!)

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Kwhai Tented Camp. Loved every aspect of it. Great planning before the trip. Excellent logistics going to and returning from the camp. Amazing safari rides. Excelent service and always attentive staff at the camp. Enjoyed the little details (hot water bottles in bed, sharing dinner with the staff) as well, of course, as the amazing safari rides. Kwahi Tented Camp was really the hihglight of our visit to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

Expert Africa made this trip possible for me and my familiy. They were always attentive, responsive to our requests, patient with our changes, great in securing our reservations once we had decided on an option. And of course, absolutely on point and fair with their oppinions and recommendations. They werea lways a knowledgeable and reliable partner in making this trip possible. The knowledge, experience, helpfulness and professional service provided by Expert Africa is second to none we have experienced. EA listened to what we wanted to do and provided an itinerary which ticked every box. Every booking during the whole 3 week safari was recognised and honoured. Flights and transfers were seamless. She is unfailingly polite, prompt in responding to queries and entirely professional in her manner. One feels Maruska goes out of her way to ensure you are treated by her as a VIP deserving the very best she can offer. We met several other of Maruska's clients while on safari and all were profuse in their praise of the service she provided them. We would not hesitate in using Maruska again and in recommending her. Expert Africa is fortunate indeed in having agents of such calibre.

I had an excellent stay at Vundu camp, on the banks of the Zambezi River. I flew in from Harare with AltAir, spotting game as we flew low over the river, and was met by Nick, the head guide and camp manager, at the airstrip. On the evening drive back to camp we spotted 3 lionesses, which was a terrific start. The rooms were luxurious, clean and comfortable and the service was impeccable. The attraction of the trip was being able to do multiple game viewing activities, including drives, walking safari and boating safari. The highlight was definitely canoeing down the Zambezi river, weaving in and out of hippos, before enjoying sundowners on a sandbank. The game viewing at the time of year (May) was difficult because the bush was still green, but Nick worked hard to find interesting animals and was a fountain of knowledge and jokes. The country was beautiful and the temperature very pleasant. I arranged the whole trip very last minute (and originally intended to go to Botswana), but I was given superb advice and help by Lucy at Expert Africa and I would not have changed a thing. This was a once in a lifetime trip that I would highly recommend.

I contacted Expert with some complicated requests and only a vague idea of what I wanted, but Lucy got back to me immediately, with some great ideas and prices. I originally wanted to go to the Okavango Delta, but we quickly realised that this was going to be out of my price range. I had mentioned that I would like to see wild dogs and so Lucy recommended Vundu Camp in Mana Pools and provided me with all the information. This turned out to be perfect, but there was still work to be done to get the price down. Lucy managed to get the camp to waive the single supplement and arranged for me to share charter flights to reduce the costs. The whole process was done very last minute (the week before I left!), but Lucy managed to get it all organised in time and was very quick to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend using Expert Africa and I will certainly use them again for all my safari needs.

We spent three weeks in Namibia and had a fantastic time. Our accommodations were all first class, with two notable exceptions. Our experiences were also exceptional, other than a couple problematic transfers and transitions. All in all, however, an amazing vacation.

Namibia was fantastic but the holiday was not particularly well organized. The tour operator slipped up with regard to some important details such as transfers. Their transitions between various locations also seemed to be less than efficient so we ending up wasting a couple days in transit. The tour package didn't arrive via mail until after we departed for our vacation.

We travelled to Zimbabwe, Zambia for two nights and then Botswana from Chobe east to Okovango Delta, back to Chobe west , to the Kalahari and back to the delta. This involved getting quite a few flights and transfers, all which were quite painless due to the excellent organization by our travel agent. The lodges were comfortable, the staff welcoming and the food good. The activities were varied and the game viewing excellent.

Very well organized and good communication. I felt the agent listened to us and found the places and lodges that met our requirements.

Wonderfully planned and organised trip to Namibia, Botswana and Victoria Falls. Expert Africa and its agents listened to our ideas and wants, then went away and planned a superb itinerary which fully catered for our needs. We travelled for nearly three weeks, staying at eleven lodges or parks and travelling with family and friends in a hire vehicle. Everything went so smoothly and we experienced a wide range of lodges and scenery. My wife and I have travelled all over the world and this was the best travel experience that we have ever had. The service from Marushka and Expert Africa went above and beyond superb! Outstanding...we will definitely recommend Expert Africa to all our friends and family...in fact to everyone we see.
