Expert Africa organised our trip to Tanzania at relatively short notice and put together an excellent schedule staying in good quality camps. We had a truly memorable two weeks.

Professional and knowledgeable. Not "cheap" but the standard is high so that it feels like value for money

We wanted to see Hippos up close and Shenton Safaris and Expert Africa were, after a lot of reheard, the places to go and make it happen. The added suggestions of stops at Lusaka and Victoria Falls eased us in and out of the main holiday, making the whole thing really, really good. Shentons two camps (Kaingo and Mwamba) gave us a really top class 'safari camp' experience with all the wildlife we could want. Talking to more frequent safari goers, it would seem that what we viewed as bonuses turned out to be a really good combination of sightings, day and night, from the expected antelope, zebra, giraffe and elephants, etc to Painted Dogs, leopards and lions (with kills) plus hyena pups and, of course, more hippos than we hoped for. All with really good, helpful and informative hosts and guides.

We chose Expert Africa and told them what we had in mind. They confirmed Shenton Safaris for the hippos, added start and end suggestions and made it all happen. Just the job and thanks to them.

Expert Africa helped us to organise the trip of a lifetime for our honeymoon. Laikipia and the Maasai Mara National Parks in Kenya were sublime; and Zanzibar provided the R&R we needed after 8 days on safari. We absolutely loved it!

We stayed in 3 lodges - Tongole, Mvuu and Mkulumadzi. All were really good in different ways. The locations were stunning. The guides worked really hard to ensure we saw all the best animals and birds and the food and accommodation was the best available and much better than we expected.

Expert Africa arrange this tour to coincide with my wife Ann's 70th birthday. The 1st lodge -Tongole laid on special entertainment for her and on the night of her birthday at the 3rd lodge Mkulumadzi a large birthday cake was provided. I assume Expert Africa made the lodges aware of this. There were no problems with the booking and everything went through without any problems.

I booked my trip to Africa through Expert Africa. It was my first time travelling to Africa and I was travelling solo. Expert Africa and I worked together and looked at which types of camps would best suit me and what would be within my budget and I ended up going to Tanzania and Zanzibar for the most incredible experience of my life! The camps I went to in Ruaha and the Selous were the perfect choices, as was my stay in Zanzibar.

I loved my tour operator and will recommend them to anyone who is looking to book a safari. They know what they are doing and arranged the perfect trip for me.

Our holiday was a two week self drive in northern Namibia, through Etosha to the Kavango River and down to Botswana at Mahango followed by a week in Botswana. All wonderful.

Expert Africa's Tracy Lederer gave us excellent advice about all aspects of our trip and made all the arrangements accurately and efficiently. She or colleagues answered all our queries very quickly and helpfully. From studying their brochure onwards they make the whole process easy and enjoyable.

I spent three days at Akagera Park in Rwanda, followed by three days of primate safaris in Volcanos Park. I then flew to the Serengeti for four days, followed by three days in Katavi, four days in Mahale, four days in Ruaha, and five in the Selous.

I can't recommend Expert Africa any more highly. This was most definitely not an itinerary I would have chosen on my own, and I was amply rewarded for getting off the beaten path. The planning and details went off without a hitch.

Safari to see game in South Luangwa park, Zambia. Very impressed with the park and the camps there. Has to be the best place in the world for leopard viewings.

Tour organised by 'Expert Africa' who were very good - every last detail seemed to have been thought of and taken care of. They are very experienced at arranging travel in Africa, I would highly recommend them.

A friend and I were returning to Botswana, with our spouses, to celebrate our 40th anniversary of first arriving as Peace Corps Volunteers. Although we planned on spending a few days in the capital of Gaborone, we also arranged to travel to three safari camps together as a group and then my spouse and I continued on to one more camp in Botswana and then Victoria Falls.

Expert Africa arranged all internal flights and connections from Johannesburg through to the various stops in Botswana, land passage from Kasane, Botswana to Livingston, Zambia, and then the return flight to Johannesburg. All flights and connections were stress-free with flawless arrangements. The camp recommendations - Chobe under Canvas, Savute under Canvas, Nzbega, and Camp Kalahari - were each memorable and mostly exceeded our expectations. Our stay in Livingston - within the Park - proved to be an ideal way to experience the Falls. Expert Africa exceeded all of our expectations that we identified when first speaking with the Expert Africa representative - Lucy Copson. She is an excellent representative of Expert Africa and the African continent.

I started by planning a family holiday vacation that included a visit to Victoria Falls as well as to Etosha National Park in Namibia. I contacted Expert Africa to help me with our itinerary. Maruska at Expert Africa did a magnificent job in planning a trip that included a number of other wonderful sites, beyond Victoria Falls and Etosha National Park. For example, she recommended a river safari on Chobe river. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Expert Africa planned a trip that was within our budget while it went beyond our expectations in terms of our experience and the memories we are taking home with us.

As I've mentioned above, Maruska at Expert Africa did an excellent job planning a trip for us to Southern Africa that took into account our budget (both time and financially) and went beyond our expectations in terms of our experience and what we saw and did. I will be recommending Expert Africa to all of my friends and colleagues who are planning trips to Africa.
