A fantastic holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia, what an experience to visit a different culture and experience how people live. We have marvelled at Halong Bay, been delighted by the world heritage site of Hoi An a must visit if travelling to this region. We enjoyed a fabulous trip by speedboat on the Mekon to the Can Gio Biosphere Reserve, feed monkeys and crocodiles along the way. Been down the Cu Chi tunnels a very interesting day out. Visited the temple in Cambodia watched the sun rise over Angkor Wat an experience never to be forgotten. Visited the Killing Fields a sobering and disturbing place highlighting the terrible atrocities carried by the Khamer Rouge. However we had the the best holiday ever.

We went to Maldives, Bali and Java for our honeymoon and Experience Travel exceeded our expectation at every stage from the first communication, planning and then help on the ground during the trip. We could not have had a more bespoke service and it made for the holiday of a lifetime (until the next one!).

We had the most amazing time travelling around Sri Lanka. Matt at Experience travel had arranged a fantastic itinerary and we enjoyed breakfast above the clouds, sleeping in a mud house , swimming in a wonderful lake and on a paradise beach.

Experience travel looked after us brilliantly from start to finish. All the accommodation was excellent. The chauffeur guide marvellous .I would( and have) recommend anyone travelling to their destinations to book with them.

We had a fantastic time, this holiday felt like such an adventure from start to finish. I felt that the trip really gave us an opportunity to immerse ourselves in Sri Lankan culture. Our local guide was very knowledgeable about the history so by the time we reached each destination we really felt that we could appreciate what we were visiting. We had some amazing experiences, my fiancée saved a star tortoise from the road which the locals loved, we had king coconuts from the side of the road, we visited beautiful Buddhist temples. We met people from all over the world, from the locals who were friendly and really eager to chat and make us feel welcome to other travellers. We went on an elephant Safari and must have seen over 100 elephants not to mention the big bull elephant wandering down the main road. The food was delicious especially the coconut samba, banana flower curry and manioc. We then went to the Maldives where we were lucky enough to see dozens of dolphins all round the boat. My fiancée, who was diving, saw the dolphins from under water as well as sharks and turtles. It was a great, and very relaxing, contrast to Sri Lanka.

Good local knowledge and great package put together at a very reasonable price.

A great experience, food, people and tours all met our expectations. We will definitely be using Experience travel Group again. We have come home all ready to start planning our next trip!

We travelled to Sri Lanka with Experience Travel in March 2016. We can't fault the holiday which was tailor-made for us to include culture, wildlife, local life and beach experiences. Their recommended boutique hotels were all very special and the driver who showed us the country was well-informed, safe and always punctual. A very memorable holiday.

We spent 10 days in Sri Lanka and 5 in the Maldives. We are well past the backpacking stage and were a bit nervous about how Sri Lanka might be. We need not have worried. We were picked up from Colombo Airport in an Air-condiitoned car and driven everywhere we needed to go by a friendly and informative guide. All our accommodation was excellent. Clean, comfortable, air-conditioned (thats quite important!), with excellent food and friendly staff. We saw a range of sights including a day in Wilpattu National Park, Ruins of Polonarawula, Sigirya Rock Fortress, Dambula Cave temples and a tour of Kandy. These amazing places of which we had little prior knowledge proved excellent focal points for the tour, but overall we loved the simple interactions that were organised for us - tour of a coconut plantation, a cycle ride into Polonarawula, a visit to the Dambula vegetable market and a train ride from Perandiya to Rambukkah through the hill country. This was all finished off with a relaxing few days on a small island resort in the Maldives.

Nick Clark at Experience Travel organised this for us. I think he understood immediately what we were looking for and organised a very comfortable and well planned tour that just suited us perfectly. We will definitely be using Experine Travel again
