Stayed in four locations (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khao Sok and Khao Lak) during a 16 night trip to Thailand. Great variation that gave us a good appreciation of of the main elements of the country, its culture, history and economy.

Trip from Luang Prabang to Hanoi across the Northern Mountains, visiting multiple villages, jungle, and cities. Overall a good mix of urban and country side, with a varied cultural and culinary mix over 2 weeks. Laos is like Thailand 30 years ago and despite the poverty offers a humbling and touching experience when avoiding the tourist heavy locations. Vietnam brings you back into a more modern and commercial environment but the friendliness and food always continues to impress.

Experience Travel Group were very good and well organised, They helped with all aspects of the trip and ensure that locals are well remunerated for their support and services.This may seem like a small thing, but not having to worry about tipping makes like easier and avoids any awkwardness too. They really ensure that locals remain involved throughout which was refreshing and allowed us to avoid the large overly commercial group tours often seen on such trips. I have been travelling extensively for 30 years now and would have no issues recommending ETG.

Amazon my trip with the contrasts of f Laos, Cambodia and Singapore. Too many highlights to name. The guides were excellent, the hotels perfect and everything ran like clockwirk.

From Diwali in Calcutta to tea and train in Darjeeling and then the majestic Kanchenjunga that was visible in all its glory each day of our time in Sikkim. The spiritualism of the monasteries perched on the hilltops, the breath-taking views of the Himalayas, Then the delicious food, friendly people and even the challenging road journeys that were a stark reminder of how challenging it is to live in such a beautiful part of our world. All this was capped off with our attendance at a wedding in Hyderabad....three weeks and a WOW every day. Highly recommend India.

They really tried to help to see if they could enhance what we were after and the moment we landed in Cochin they took the greatest of care that our holiday, was going to be special .

Holly put together a fabulous itinerary for us in Northern Thailand and Laos, listening carefully to our likes and dislikes and what we wanted to get out of the trip. The itinerary worked really well, we wouldn't change anything. The guides were all excellent and really enhanced our holiday.

It was great to be able to meet face to face when first planning the holiday. All follow-up was efficient and we felt that we were in the capable hands of experts in the area.

Our 'Pioneer Experience' gave us a fantastic opportunity to visit Nepal. Our itinerary was stimulating and varied. It coincided with the festival of Tihaa or Diwali and therefore allowed us to experience a special family time of year.Our guide,Anup, was charming and knowledgeable. He invited us to join his family for their special Diwali celebrations ,which was such a memorable experience and also a privilege. Trekking in the Annapurna foothills was a significant part of our two week visit. The chance to trek from Lodge to Lodge, and to see the village way of life ,was fascinating. We were fortunate to see the sun rise on the Annapurna Range each morning which was unforgettable. To stay at a Homestay in Hemjakot was special. Such a stay is an immersive experience and allowed us to understand village life. The hospitality of our host family was so warm,genuine,kind and generous. It was fun to help with the meal preparation,and fascinating to see Benita's joy in using her newly acquired washing machine for the first time. The money generated by the homestay project has enabled her three children to attend boarding school in Pokhara. The UNESCO Heritage Sites in Kathmandu,Bhaktapur and Patan are fascinating. Restoration after the 2015 earthquake is ongoing but the attention to detail and craftsmanship of that which has been restored is exquisite. The variety of our itinerary, which included a hands on session in Ceramics in Bhaktapur,gave a unique insight into the Nepalese way of life. Every single person we met was charming,food was delicious and accommodation very comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend ETG for their attention to detail in creating a perfect holiday.

ETG suggested an itinerary for us to pioneer. We worked together to create a varied itinerary to suit both of us which included pioneer activities and trekking in the Annapurna foothills. These were all well organised on the ground and lead to a fascinating, varied and very interesting holiday full of new experiences. ETG arranged for an excellent, personable guide who enabled us to learn about the Nepalese culture and customs, which enhanced our holiday.

14 nights travelling in rural Kerala (7 different hotels). Lots of diverse experiences, both rural and in Cochin. Local guides and drivers who were quite exceptional throughout

I was very excited for our children to learn about different cultures, foods and see how people live in different countries.
