Equestrian Escapes are just brilliant

I have an autistic son who is energetic but sensitive to noise. He loves horses so I found Equestrian Escapes and Hatty recommended to me their holidays in the Loire Valley. The accommodation was welcoming and spotlessly clean and not far from the riding school. The tutors understood my son completely, despite his lack of eye contact and at times odd conversation, and he and I had a super run of lessons and hack sessions, despite both being relative novices at riding. Directions to the area and details of what equipment we needed were clear and sensible.

Specialist in horsey holidays, with friendly, efficient and sensible people at the end of the phone. A pleasure to deal with.

My second time with Equestrian Escapes, just a fabulous break again - I merely provided dates and it was all arranged. The hotel and stables are excellent. I'll definitely be going back.

My daughter and I had struggled to find somewhere to have a mix of lessons, hacks and a farm ride for an adult and pre-teen. The accommodation was organised close to the stables who were very welcoming and helped us both recognise where we could improve our position and technique in the lessons and put them into practice hacking through the Cheshire countryside. It was with trepidation we went on the farm ride cross country but the instructors made sure we stayed within our limits while feeling like we stretched ourselves. Hard work all week but loved every minute.

Equestrian Escapes organised everything with the minimum of hassle, plenty of information in terms of phone numbers and postcodes for the sat navy and always replied promptly when I had questions.

I had two phenomenal riding holidays back to back arranged by Equestrian Escapes. As an American, their team was able to advise me on choosing the holidays that were right for me during my visit to the UK. My trips to Witherslack Hall in the Lake District and Windsor/Ascot were unbelievable. I stayed in a charming inn in the Lake District and couldn't have received a better welcome from my hosts - not to mention the incredible rides. In Ascot I stayed in a modern hotel and had one of the best rides of my life in Great Windsor Park. Hatty was so flexible and accommodating, even when there was a last minute change. I'm so thankful for all Equestrian Escapes did for me and cannot recommend them highly enough.

In the Lake District, Deanna and Louise made me feel right at home - it was difficult to leave. In Ascot/Windsor, my ride was led by Helen - a true legend for an incredible ride.

Thanks to the wonderful staff at the Cheshire Stables for making my experience so amazing. The two instructors I had, Holly and Emma were amazing and I really felt that I began to make progress and they managed to help me correct things I'd been doing wrong for years. I was really impressed by the professionalism on the yard, the wonderful care shown to the horses and the standard of instruction. Also, they were so friendly and helpful, and I now have photos and video taken by the instructors to remember my holiday by but also to help me improve my technique. I had such a good time. Very organised and efficient

We had an absolutely fabulous time on a 3 day riding holiday in the Brecon Beacons. The riding school was lovely as were the owners Julie and Myfanwy and the girls Willow and Georgina who took us out. We had 3 hacks and the groups were small with only the 2 or 3 of us. My friend had never cantered before and she ended up having quite a few confident strady canters and even a small controlled gallop on rides that were tailored especially for us. The horses were lovely and forward going. The rides were in absolutely stunning countryside and we went up very high on a mountain with stunning views. The nearby spa hotel that we stayed at was very friendly and we spent the afternoon in the outdoor heated pool and indoor jacuzzi/sauna which helped our aching legs!!! Thanks for a great holiday, we'll definitely book again

Stayed with Beverly Gibbons at Pinetrees in the Algarve for just under a week. Was such a lovely time, couldn’t have asked for a better riding holiday. As haven’t ridden for some time it was just the right amount with a choice of lessons or hacks out. Was looked after wonderfully by Bev and everyone.
