I spent 3 days with Angie, Eve and her girls in July. I was upgraded to the stunning log cabin in the grounds and was thoroughly looked after by Angie and her team, this even included a lovely day at the New Forest Show. I travelled alone and was picked up from the station, this is a fantastic option for those relying on public transport. Angie's horses are stunning- they are treated like royalty. I am used to riding in a school and not in open countryside but I was looked after by Eve every step of the way. I did things I didn't think I could do, like canter up a steep hill. The location was stunning and I felt very privileged to be able to enjoy a sunset ride. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this experience and I hope to return next year.

The whole booking process was easy and any queries I had were answered promptly. This experience is not your usual riding holiday and it was a luxury being the only person at the stables. The whole break was excellent value for money especially considering the calibre of the horses.

2 night stay near Sailsbury , 3 half days horse riding. Spectacular views, happy, calm horses and very nice freindly hosts. Thats all you need for a relaxing weekend. Excellent accomodation with great service from the hosts Angie and the guys. Definitely going back again.

I had a fabulous time over my two days spent at Cottage Park Stables with Angie and her 4 legged team. I was made very welcome by Angie and the girls she has helping her. I got to stay in the Wood Cabin absolutely cute as a button and very comfy. The perfect stay for a horsey getaway on a property thats a Horse Lovers Dream. The horses WOW they are amazingly well looked after and beautiful. I was spoilt riding Merlin and Sam these 2 boys suited me to a T which means my experience was well matched for my capabilities. My 2 days was the perfect relax and the fun I needed after travelling place to place site seeing for the past 4wks. I needed my horse fix and I would go back again and again for this one. I will definately pass Angies business name onto friends back home if they are after a wonderful horse riding adventure in the stunning English Countryside. Sarah and Lindsay were Quick to respond and organised my 2 day experience hassle free within a few days of my request. I think i was pretty lucky to get the 2 days i got and i would have loved to stay longer but took what i could get at last minute.

My thanks to Angie, Eve and Rose for all of the help, support and coaching they provided to me and for letting me be part of their daily life for a few days. I had the best time and the horses were just beautiful. While I was there Angie also advised me to see a friend of hers who was a chiropractionor (Which I did) as she felt that I was off balance and I was walking lopsided. This was indeed the case and Jenny re-aligned me. This was obvious when I rode after getting home. I felt a lot more balanced. I have now booked myself in to a local chiropractionor to keep the good work up that Jenny did. I will definitely be going back to see the girls in the future and would recommend this weekend for anyone whether they are a novice or experienced rider. My thanks to Angie and the girls for a great few days and I hope to see them all again in the furture.

thank you so much for your swift and direct organisational skills. I had a fab time in Cheshire. BnB owner was LOVELY. I massively recommend that you send single travellers to her as she made me feel so welcome. The dogs do have quite a loud bark so I'm not sure it would be suitable for small children or those wary of dogs! The breakfasts are great. The Stables were FAB! It was a fabulous Trio of horses that they put together for me. I had half an hour without stirrup on my first day - hooray! The instructors were great, horses superb and the welcomeness good. Your efficiency and friendliness with my last-second booking was first rate! Thank you Thank you J

We had the best time staying with Angie, riding Rocky and Sam, my friend was thrilled with her birthday present and we will be returning without a doubt.

I have stayed with Katharine twice now in Portugal on Equestrian Escapes "Tailor made Algarve" holiday. The first time in 2013, was an exciting adventure for me - escaping the family for a few days alone to indulge my passion for horse-riding somewhere new! Not sure quite what to expect, I was immediately put at ease when Katharine picked me up from the airport I knew that I was in for a treat! A lovely home-cooked meal was waiting for me along with a chilled glass of wine; we discussed my riding aims and objectives in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The accommodation was very comfortable and after a good night's sleep, I got up in my own time to start the day. After a lesson on lovely "Lady", I got involved in turning out/grooming (my choice.. could have sat in the sun!!!) then went for a hack on handsome "Pedro" in the afternoon and finished my day schooling the lovely "Gucci"! The whole holiday was totally "tailor made" - Katharine is an excellent rider herself and gave me so much food for thought in terms of what I could achieve with my own horse - equally she has lots to offer less experienced riders. The holiday really is all about "you!" Needless to say I couldn't wait to book for a second time - it really felt like home from home. The wonderful horses, beautiful climate and scenery, superb hospitality; who could ask for more? Thank you Katharine! Can't wait for my next visit!

Equestrian Escapes have been helpful and efficient in all my dealings with them - they offer a fantastic range of holidays and I would not hesitate to recommend them to riders of all levels - there is something to suit most budgets!

My sister and I had a great time in Portugal. We shared our cottage with two like-minded ladies whom we had not met previously. We all got on really well and are hoping to repeat the experience soon! Katharine's hospitality was excellent, as were the stable yard facilities. I really enjoyed riding a few different horses (who were all real individuals!) in the beautiful open countryside of the Alentejo. The Equestrian Escapes website and Katharine's stable will definitely be my first stop next time I book a riding holiday!

I booked a weeks stay at the Macdonald Portal Hotel with two days horse riding at the Willington Hall Riding School all through Equestrian Escapes who handled my holiday booking with friendly professionalism having recommended Cheshire due to the fact the riding school were very child friendly and I couldn't have wished for a better riding experience for my 10 year old daughter. The trainers at the riding school were amazing, offering encouragement which really boosted Hannah's confidence on a horse which I saw paid dividends on our final hack.

As stated above they were professional and friendly and were able to suggest a much better alternative to my original enquiry.
