Village Inn Break and Country Hacks

Just wanted to say I had an amazing time. The accommodation and the horses were superb. The staff at local Inn and the Stables really looked after me and made me feel very welcome. The hacks were idyllic. To top it all the weather was glorious. I would highly recommend the Village Inn experience. Horses and Beer do go together as long as you keep them 12 hours apart!!! Everything in moderation!

This is the third time I've booked through Equestrian Escapes and will continue to do so. They tailor the holiday to meet your requirements and ability. They are extremely flexible to make sure you are happy with the arrangements before you travel. It makes such a difference to have this confidence with your operator.

Many thanks for taking the time to write, Cheshire is one of our favourite rides. The standard of the tuition and horses is exceptional and with the choice of accommodation from B&B to 4 star spa hotel and everything in between you really can't go wrong!

Equestrian Escapes responded to this review on 11 Jun 2016:

Thank you for choosing to travel with us; we are passionate about horses and riding and hopefully this comes out in the choice of rides that we have on the website.

Gemma and Chris were great hosts at the B&B. Our meals together were delicious and friendly as well. Amy was an excellent guide out for hacks and Nicola was a very safe and knowledgable trainer for lessons back at the yard.

Perfect riding break in Cheshire

We wanted a tailored holiday to cover the type of riding we wanted to do.Unfortunately the B&B at the stables was booked up but equestrian escapes did a great job of finding us a place to stay with Carol in central Chester, which actually worked out better because we could go out after riding. Carol did a good job of looking after us. The stables was exactly what we were after. We had horses perfect for our ability and they were as good as gold. Our instructor, Chris, knew instantly what we needed to work on and did a great job of balancing our different riding needs. She pushed us to improve without being pushy, which is unusual for riding instructors in my experience! The stables gave us the indoor school (as it was raining), kept our horses and instructor the same and out up with us changing our minds about what we wanted to do. It was the best riding break I have been on and I would definitely go again.

Equestrian escapes did a great job of finding us a tailored riding break that met our needs.

Fantastic experience

Amazing place with excellent staff and horses. So good at integrating solo travellers with groups and families, that at no point did I feel like a solo traveller! The accommodation and excellent food that was served simply added to the overall experience.

Thank you for taking the time to write regarding your holiday in Malaga, we certainly agree with you that this riding holiday is a truly exceptional experience!

Equestrian Escapes responded to this review on 09 May 2016:

This holiday is set up in a particularly social manner making it a must for both those travelling alone and for those wanting to make new friends. We always say to our clients that we get so many single travelers not because we haven't got any friends but more precisely we haven't got any friends that ride horses!!

My son and I booked a 2 day riding experience through equestrian escapes. The stables were lovely. Jessica has 31 horses. She is very patient and tailored our hacks to our ability. Every lunch and evening we were taken out to a local restaurant for lunch. Mostly a different restaurant every day. Antonio's wife mostly accompanied him , so it was like a family outing. The local village had a festival on and we enjoyed the music and the stalls, with fireworks on the Monday. This helped to make it special

Equestrian Escapes were very helpful, , any query by email was dealt with promptly . Nothing was too much trouble.

Equestrian Escapes responded to this review on 14 Apr 2016:

We cannot recommend Ride in the Sun in Portugal highly enough, the accommodation overlooks a stunning valley, the horses are the most beautiful Lusitanos and eating out in different restaurants everyday gives you the authentic 'taste' of Portugal. We couldn't agree more with you it is impossible to better this short break!!!

Equestrian Escapes responded to this review on 14 Apr 2016:

Many thanks, we work really hard to make sure that the programmes we offer are absolutely first class!

I was greeted by the lovely Frimp who welcomed me tea and biscuits whilst my room was being finialised. The stables I went to for my lessons & hack were just wonderful, probably one of the best I have been to. The staff were all very friendly and Chris who taught me was fantastic and I wish I had a 'Chris' at my local stables who could help me improve even more. Overall this break gets a 10/10 from me and I now cant wait to put my new riding position into more practice back at home. Thank you Equestrian Escapes.

The standard of instruction and riding out in Cheshire is exceptionally high and has been a firm favourite with our customers for many years now. We are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your stay.

Equestrian Escapes responded to this review on 06 Apr 2016:

We really try our best to ensure that all trips run as smoothly as possible and that they are tailored to our customers needs and wishes. As Cheshire is our home base we are particularly proud of the standards that we offer here - we agree everyone needs a Chris on their yard!!! If you feel brave enough to venture abroad we have a ride in Malaga and one in Portugal that offers the same standards that we do here.

Cheshire is our home base and as such it is so important to us that this break goes over and beyond expectations. Frimp's B&B is a beautiful Cheshire farmhouse loveingly restored to the very highest of standards, a real treat! As the yard is a competition yard the instructors are of the highest possible standards and the horses are free moving and obedient making it easy to learn, gain confidence and progress.
