So much to see and experience. Every detail of our trip was planned out precisely. We followed all the recommendations provided by Sine with Absolute Excapes. Nothing failed to meed our expectations. A request to include a day guided trout trip was the perfect end to the trip of a life time.

Sine planned everything we requested. From the Bow Fest to trout fishing nothing failed to please. I would recommend Absolute Escapes to anyone visiting Scotland.

We walked along the Scottish coast from Edinburgh to Dunbar. Our route followed the last portion of the John Muir Way. The scenery was beautiful as we passed through charming farms and villages. We spent three days walking and took a layover day in North Berwick, a lovely place with much to see.

Absolute Escapes designed a custom trip which met or exceeded our expectations in every respect. They were prompt in communicating, completely attuned to our requests, and provided accurate and thorough materials for our self-guided trip.

Walked the West Highland Way 96 miles over 8 days with another couple.. Scenery stunning, weather brilliant- so lucky. Knowing Absolute were available should issues arise was reassuring. Stayed in mix of B&Bs and hotels. Majority to a high standard.

Our West Highland Way trip was arranged to perfection by Absolute Escapes. we walked and and enjoyed the finest of weather for 9 days, and every day our luggage transfers were pefect and the accommodation suited our daily needs. We had a mix of B&B and Hotels, but it did not matter if they were two star or four star, the journey and entire experience of each day's walk allowed us to soak up the atmosphere before we arrived and for us to then savour our hosts hospitality which as no surprise was also well presented. This was a life changing jouirney for us, as it opened our hearts to hwat magic the WHW has on offer, so much that we will be planning a return trip to again take up the perfect support we received.

We made enquiries online with Absolute Escapes about the Plans and opportunities on offer to undertake the West Highland Way. As we did not know anything about the accomodation and what we would encounter, we relied upon them to provide all the needs for our journey and additonal assistance as we had no idea what we would need. But i was not surprised that we were offered mutliple options, we secured a great package, and our operator provided excellent servoce, timely responses to numerous emails, some not even concerning thier support for our trip, but they replied at all times, and with excellent response and comments. The entire trip was well planned, and executed perfectly - we could ask for nothing more as it was not required. This was a well planned trip , and Absolute Escapes gaves us that. They provided us with an all inclusive package which included accommodation, door to door baggage transfer, an excllent Guide book, map, and a comprehensive Information Pack. They took care of all the details for our holiday, leaving us totally and incident free to relax and enjoy our walk, knowing that everything was taken care of.

Walking the Great Glen Way.....Wow!! The weather was the icing on the cake. 6 days of excellent walking in the Scottish Highlands was a great experience for my daughter and I. Absolute Escapes, as always, made a fantastic job of booking accommodation, moving bags and suggesting dining venues. We relaxed completely and put all our efforts into enjoying the walking and the views. I can't wait for next year!!

Walking the west highland way over eight days, scenery was excellent, thoroughly enjoyable experience,excellent company and met lots of like minded people from all over the world doing the same time as us. Midgies were a bit of a problem at times but when we went on September the weather was outstanding except for one day when we had torrential rain and blustery winds which all added to the adventure. Walking the West highland way was challenging at times but very rewarding and a sense of achievement on completion of the walk

Absolute escapes were very professional in both their correspondence and organization of our trip although we had a small hiccup halfway through our holiday it was the fault of one of the b&b we stayed at and by no means the fault of absolute escapes. We would definitely book with this company again

We booked a 6 day walk on the West Highland Way through Absolute Escapes - all accommodation and bag transfers were pre booked. This worked very well. B&Bs all had private facilities and easy to find. We also requested dog friendly B+Bs as we had our small dog with us. Most of the B+Bs were very relaxed about dogs - others were fine but dogs were restricted to the bedroom only. The WHW is one of the most scenic walks in the world and an absolute must for those who love walking and trekking.

Absolute Escapes were very helpful - kept us up to date with bookings. We requested dog friendly accommodation and they managed to accommodate us and arrange a taxi service where necessary. We were provided with a map and touring guide brochure and excellent itinerary.

A very well organised holiday from the initial phone call (which was friendly helpful and informative) to the booking and subsequent itinerary and package ( map guide book etc) Accommodation was mostly excellent only one exception which was good but more hostel than guest house. Baggage transfer was excellent. Recommended eating places was much appreciated. The walking experience was great, about the right distance each day for my ability, and the historical background very interesting. Wildlife was plentiful especially the bird life towards the end of the walk.

Friendly initial phone conversation. Welcoming single solo walker. Not all operators do this but try to pair up with "another lady" which is not an option. I am fully prepared to pay extra and would suggest that many tour companies are missing out on a growing demand. The booking was effortless and the information package including itinerary map guide book etc. were received promptly. Directions to guest houses were detailed and mainly easy to follow with one exception where it was rather confusing and more complicated than necessary. I would definitely recommend this company.to fellow walkers.

It was very well planned on a budget scale. We were taken care of from beginning to end. It was completely hassle free from booking a car, to B&B's to itinerary. Great recommendations for food.

Absolute Escapes did a really thorough job of planning our itinerary, took the time to inform us of different possibilities, listened to our needs. I would definitely use them again.
