A relaxing ten day car journey through the southern Scottish isles. Visiting 4 islands and making 7 ferry crossings, timings and distances were well planned and realistic Accommodation was similarly well chosen and ideas given for places to visit, things to do and places to eat. Administration by Absolute Escapes provided everything necessary for a holiday which had we planned it ourselves could hardly have been better and would not have given us the confidence to know that it would work. Which it did perfectly.

A fabulous week in Scotland walking The Great Glen Way. We climbed Ben Nevis on the Saturday before starting to walk the Great Glen Way on the Sunday. We took 5 days to complete the walk using Absolute Escapes to organise our accommodation and baggage transfers each day. The weather was poor for our walk up Ben Nevis but was beautiful for the 5 days walking the Great Glen Way (we had rain on the last afternoon walking down into Inverness)

Absolute Escapes were fabulous from start to finish. The standard of accommodation was excellent and our bags were waiting for us each day in our accommodation with no fuss. The administration was efficient and the information package that we received was perfect. We will certainly be using Absolute Escapes again (we are planning to walk the West Highland Way in 2016)

Hotels, B&B, luggage, driver - everything was perfectly organized!

We had a lovely two weeks touring Scotland. It was the best weather they had all year and made for some spectacular views and photos. Having our trip planned out with accommodations booked in advance made our travelling worry free and allowed us to fully enjoy ourselves. We did some spectacular hikes, sea kayaking, whiskey tasting and enjoyed Scotland's expansive history. It was a great mix of busy cities and empty moors. A beautiful country!

Absolute Adventures responded promptly to all of our emails and inquires and helped us to tweak an existing itinerary to fit our interests and time allowances. They had many helpful suggestions and were able to incorporate all of our requests. When an issue came up with the car rental company (we were going to be charged an extra - very expensive - fee due to our age)we emailed Andy at Absolute Adventures and he took care of it within 24 hours! Our itinerary was very detailed and provided lots of suggestions of attractions in each location. All of the accommodation was beautiful and our hosts were all very kind and welcoming. Thankfully there was a GPS system in our rental car as the provided map was not quite detailed enough to navigate the cities and towns. Overall it was a fantastic trip!

Myself, my husband, his uncle and his elderly father (81 yrs old) all recently took part in the Speyside Way Walk. My husband and I could only complete three days as we had a prior commitment in Paris but the other two of our party completed the six day hike. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were so pleased with the accommodations as well as the delicious meals we got to enjoy after a day of walking. We will certainly be back next year to do another walk with Absolute Escapes. They were very well organized and had wonderful people taking care of us at each nights resting point. Thank you so much.

Absolute Escapes was able to work with us to design a walk where two people did three days and two people did six days. Everything worked our perfectly and we would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking to do this kind of holiday.

Scott Smyth at Absolute Escapes planned my husband and I an incredible 9 day Scotland adventure. He included all the information we could have possibly needed to not only navigate an area completely new to us, but to also understand the history and culture around us. Most enjoyable and interesting, the Outer Hebrides clearly lived up to our expectations.

Our holiday would have been difficult for us to arrange in advance as we knew very little about the Outer Hebrides but using Absolute Escape it was made easy.They were very prompt coming back to us when we had questions. Their choice of accomodation was perfect, our first couple of days after a long journey was in a very comfortable hotel, then we moved onto an extreemly comfortable B&B run by a lovely lady and final, our last night in an expencive hotel, which was a perfect way to finish a most enjoyable holiday. I would have no hesitation in recomending Absolute Escapes to anybody.

We spent eight days walking the Rob Roy Way. We added an extra day to extend the route. We were very glad we did this as we did find it the most impressive part of the walk. Absolute Escapes were very helpful in organising everything.

Absolute Escapes were brilliant. They organised excellent B&Bs, bag carrying and transport where and when needed. They were most helpful and the whole operation was seamless. WE were given excellent maps and directions and a book about the walk which gave us all the information we needed to make the most of the trip. They suggested an extension to the trip which we were very glad about because it turned out to be the highlight of our time there. We were very impressed and will seek them out again for further such trips we decide to make.

10 Day tour by train starting in Edinburgh - Ft William - Isle of Skye - Inverness - Pitlochry - Edinburgh.

Absolute Escapes put together a wonderful itinerary and selected very fine places for us to stay. They appeared to be the best accomodations in all of the places we stayed. Very well organized and thought out - and we plan on returning in the not too distant future.

The holiday was both fun and educational. We arrived in Edinburgh and went directly to Inverness for two days. From there to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. From there back to Pitlochry and then finished with two days in Edinburgh. We enjoyed the whole trip which included fishing for trout on Loch Ness, visiting historical sites, enjoying the country-side views, whiskey tasting, a ghost tour, visiting castles and shopping on the Royal Mile.

My tour operator, Sine Nielson, along with Andy Gabe, was the best. I asked her to come up with a personalized itinerary based on what my wife and I wanted to see. Sine produced a tailor-made holiday in no time at all with all the details needed for a stress-free trip. Then, at the last minute she was asked to change the itinerary based on recommendations from my wife. Sine was very accommodating and made the changes with no hesitation and no fuss. The trip turned out perfect. I recommend Sine and Andy for any tour of Scotland.
