We walked the Northumberland Coast Path from Cresswell to Berwick with an overnight stay on Holy Island.

The trip was extremely well planned, with clear and comprehensive guidance notes and no hitches at all on the route.

We enjoyed our walking holiday on the Speyside Way very much. The weather was a bit "hit & miss," but there is nothing really you can do about that except be prepared. We met some wonderful people and staying in some lovely B&Bs.

Amanda and Scott at Absolute Escapes are top-notch. They were very responsive to all our questions and concerns during the planning phase of our holiday. They booked us in some lovely B&Bs, with terrific hosts. All materials for our walking holiday were very comprehensive and came in plenty of time for us to review before we left the States for Scotland. Overall, an excellent group to work with.

I think it's fair to say that we've had all seasons packed in one holiday in the past few weeks.. Some sunshine, some rain, and some very windy days. It was fairly cold (15 degrees) at times, but once the sun came out the weather (and the island) was truly lovely. Every single b&b was very nice in its own way and we cannot say anything even remotely negative about one of our hosts. They were all extremely friendly and helpful.The walks were easy to follow, both because they were well-waymarked and because of the detailed itinerary you sent us. Some days were less our cup of tea, because of the road walking and the boulder scrambling, which proved challenging at times (I managed to sprain my thumb on one of the last days). I can't remember whether this was already stressed in the emails we've exchanged before the walk, but this might be interesting information for people thinking about hiking Arran? We met another couple on our trip and they felt the same way about both aspects of the trail.

The itinerary we received was very detailed and provided us with the necessary details. The hosts were without expection very hospitable.

We walked through the Westhigland Way and it was a great pleasure! It was perfect organised by Absolute Escapes! The B&B´s was excellent, the People extremly friendly - the package tranportation was perfect...

The Organisation was perfect - and they take care of us form the first Minute to the last one.

Our experience on the West Highland Way with Absolute Escapes was superb! All the arrangements made went smoothly, and the lodgings were above expectation with fantastic breakfasts and dinner recommendations as well. Nothing to complain about whatsoever! Thank you also for your understanding of the fact that we needed 2 guidebooks and 2 maps with our reservation. Although we lodged and dined together, we hiked at different paces, so it was important to each have information about the route and highlights along the Way. I also want to share that we had such a good time and were so satisfied with the services that we've recommended Absolute Escapes to other travelers we met afterward who are now considering walking the West Highland Way. We can't think of a better compliment for a job well done!

Walking the West Highland Way in 5days was always going to be a challenge but Absolute Escapes took away all the hassle of arranging accommodation and baggage transfer from stop to stop. We could then focus on the walking and the breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Highlands. It was exhausting and yet amazing at the same time and with great accommodation and food the end of the day, we were looked after. Thoroughly recommend tackling the 98miles but get someone else to handle the arrangement. They were brilliant.

Everything was arranged superbly in great accommodation, good information/recommendations and baggage transported without fuss. They took away all the hassle so we could concentrate and enjoy the walking. Superb.

We had a great drive and ferry adventure visiting Mull, Skye, and Harris/Lewis, Uist and Barra. We enjoyed typical Scottish weather (so we were told) with 4 seasons every day. With the sun between the clouds the colors change constantly in the harbors, beaches, hills and Lochs. The single lane roads are an adventure to drive. Staying in B&Bs and small hotels was pleasant and uncomplicated and we met friendly people wherever we went. The fresh seafood is a treat. We enjoyed beautiful walls through hills (with sheep), along spectacular white sandy beaches (with cows) and along lochs and machair. It was a relaxing holiday and we returned to the Netherlands fully recharged!

We had a great holiday! The personalized itinerary by Absolute Escapes and the organization of B&B/hotel and ferries was excellent. We made good use of the site of walkhighlands.co.uk We did many walks and were lucky with the weather (except on Skye, but I went up to the old man Storr anyway). We have seen almost all of the suggestions in the Itinerary (except the museums because we are more outdoor people.

Absolute Escapes tailored my walking holiday for me. I had 9 days walking - first St. Cuthbert's Way (Melrose to Lindisfarne) and then the Northumberland Coast Path (Lindisfarne to Ellington). My accommodation was pre-booked and my luggage transported, leaving me free to enjoy beautiful weather, wonderful scenery - including the Cheviots and the beaches of Northumberland.

I have used Absolute Escapes a couple of times - once for a group holiday and once for a solo holiday. They put together wonderful itinerary, tailored to meet our/my needs - including pre-booked accommodation, luggage transport and info pack. All accommodation was great. Luggage transfer worked perfectly. Info pack included maps and information about the day's route, lunch and dinner options. Very good value for money.

We had a great tour at the Wicklow way, and all accommodations at the B & B was fine. The first two nights at the hotel was not so good, because the room was too hot, and we could not open the window without being bothered by noise from ventilation systems. After two lovely days in Dublin we spend six days walking the Wicklow mountains, and I must say that I haven't seen more beautiful landscapes. The Wicklow way is also well signage, so we didn't had to use the maps so much, and could enjoy all the views along the way. We had a lovely holiday and would not hesitate to use Absolute Escapes for future holidays in the UK and Ireland.

The trip was well organized and we had some good accommodations at the B&B's. We would not hesitate to use them for future holidays in the UK and Ireland.
