Just one thing I would like to add about the trail, and it really a minor point and that is that at times i found myself wandering how far I'd travelled and or how far to the next destination, in talking to other walkers on the way they all expressed a similar opinion. perhaps just a milage indicator painted on some of the existing trail markers would be more than adequate. this however does not detract from the walk in any way, it would be just a nice to have.

I'm not sure that I can come up with any suggestions/recommendations as to how Absolute Escapes could improve the service and product that you offer as I found everything to be more than satisfactory, in fact excellent. even prior to my booking I found Absolute Escapes friendly and helpful with countless phone calls and emails even assisting me with information and links for me to get from London to Fort William and then Inverness back to London, invaluable help and saved me considerable time. on the trail I found everything to be extremely well organised and all went like clockwork, the accommodation was excellent all the hosts were very friendly and helpful and the luggage transfer people didn't miss a beat. a credit to you all at Absolute Escapes for doing such a wonderful job of organising such holidays I'd have no hesitation in recommending Absolute Escapes to anyone, thank You for a Great holiday.

Absolute Escapes were delightful to work with. All of our accommodations were exactly as described and the detailed itinerary provided was extremely helpful. We only encountered one very small issue and it was handled very promptly despite occurring outside of normal business hours. I highly recommend Absolute Escapes!

Overall we enjoyed every day of the walk, the diversity of the walk is sometimes a bit tough but especially beautiful and the views are absolute rewarding! We were welcomed with great hospitality in all the booked accommodations. As always we loved to be back in bonny Scotland (my fifth walk and seventh holiday overall). Met just a few people along the way but, as during all of our previous walks, everyone in Scotland is always very friendly, hospital and helpful!

Absolute Escapes replied very quickly with lots of information and prepared a holiday for him in record time. This involved arranging accommodation at seven different guesthouses, arranging for the transport of my luggage from guesthouse to guesthouse, and providing me with a detailed schedule of where to walk and what there was to see. They were friendly and courteous at all times and I had total confidence in their offering.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the team of Absolute Escapes for organising this wonderful introduction to Scotland. The selected accommodations were absolutely outstanding and the quality of the food was beyond expectation. Your itinerary description and various suggestions were spot on and left little to be desired. We will definitely return to Scotland.

Gorgeous walk in Scotland despite severe showers

In August 2016, two old friends and I walked the West Highland Way, the famous 152 km walk from Milganvy to Fort William, in the northwestern part of Scotland.

Absolute Escapes organized this beautiful walk, from A to Z, including B&B's, transportation of our luggage and full documentation e.g. maps and things to see. Amanda and her crew took care of all details, communicated everything well with us and were open to some of our suggestions for improvement.
