great planning and execution.
West Highland way walk. It was more of a hike than a walk but very enjoyable.

Logistics were as promised, and the add-on's (guided cycling, hiking, and a boat tour) made it special.
Driving tour of Scotland. We started in Edinburgh, went up to the Highlands, across to Sky, finishing in Glasgow,

Rating for tour operator:Well organised holiday that matched the description.
A well planned and executed holiday package.
This was a canoe trip down the Spey River from Loch Inch to Spey Bay. We had B&B accommodation at the end of each day. All places were good quality and a warm welcome extended. The canoeing was managed by a very competent and entertaining river guide who was very instructive and encouraging, always finding something to commend us on no matter what scrapes we got ourselves into. We learnt a lot about open canoeing whilst having fun. I certainly ...

Wilderness Scotland's Eda Frandsen Sailing / Hiking Trip
The holiday consisted of a one-week sailing and hiking trip through "The Small Isles" off the north-west coast of Scotland on the Eda Frandsen, a 1930's wooden sailing boat. We sailed and hiked every day. The skipper, guide and chef/cook were all tremendous. The quality of the food was amazing. Our week-long sailing / hiking trip is right up there at the top in terms of holidays I have taken. I don't think it could have been improved in any way...

It was particularly fun being "crew" on the boat, not just passengers / clients.
Rating for tour operator:Wilderness Scotland provided us with a top-notch sailing / hiking experience. The staff in the office working behind the scenes provided us with efficient booking and answered all of our questions right away. The actual staff on the excursion (our skipper, hiking guide, cook/chef) were great people who made the trip memorable in so many ways. They shared their love of sailing and hiking with us and personalized the trip.
Wonderful!
We traveled and hiked through the Scottish Highlands with a fantastic guide, who maximized our experience through his knowledge and experience.

Rating for tour operator:Did a great job of customizing a tour to meet not only our desires but also fit other travel plans.
A Week of amazing Scenery, Friendship, Hospitality, Food & wine.
Our tour leader made us all feel included in his decision making, safe at all times, equally important in his attentiveness, and ensured that all our hiking capabilities within the group were catered for. There was a pleasant mix of serious easy level hiking and relaxation times in delightful teashops and restaurants. The accommodation provided was excellent and the hosts were warm and friendly, the rooms comfortable and our every need catered for...
