The Great Glen Canoe Trail by Ro5, 23 Sep 2022

Wilderness Scotland took me out of my comfort zone and brought me back again

Canoeing the Great Glen Trail was a brilliant experience. Our group ranged in age from 30s to 80s. We gelled round the campfire on Day 1 and never looked back. Our guides were as described: curious, calm, creative and easy-going, mischievous, patient (respectively). They managed to keep us on schedule without any aspect feeling like a rush. Rating for tour operator:

Wilderness Scotland are the best in the business by far. I have been on many trips with them all over Scotland and each one has been perfect. Their attention to detail means that we only have to turn up to have the most wonderful time. Every single aspect seems to have been scrutinised for perfection. The office team are exemplary, friendly, welcoming and professional. The guides are the same, again every aspect of the trip seems to checked out in advance so the level of comfort and enjoyment is maximised. I can’t praise them highly enough, the trips have been life enhancing for me and I wouldn’t take the risk of even looking at another company.

Wilderness Scotland not only helped we 4 friends plan a perfect holiday- they were on top of constantly changing lodging and food accommodations. They are professional and easy to work with. They are a #10- I will use them again.

Dave Greer is extraordinarily multitalented- his passion for the culture and history of Scotland made out experiences incredible. He always provided full disclosure on what we could expect-he met with us after each day to get our feedback while going over the plans for the next day. Dave checked in with how we were feeling- and was flexible working with us based on our abilities.
