Exploring the Isle of Skye
It was a delightful way to taste the best of the Isle of Skye….The guide took on the task and stress of driving our little group to a variety of trailheads which led to some challenging (but not too challenging) hikes with history lessons attached. Cappuccinos at nearby bakeries often topped off our afternoons as we headed back to our wonderful accommodations.

Kristina was attentive to the needs of the group. She planned each day according to the weather and trail conditions—communicating her thoughts well and getting feedback from us. She was well-prepped with the history and lore of the area. And she set an appropriate pace for all of us to follow.

Coast to Coast mtb - excellent
Holiday Experience with Wilderness Scotland holiday was great, this followed a 8 week travel around the UK that included the Lakes District that was evidenced as having reached a tourist saturation level by lack of parking, vehicle congestion and high prices. The experience with the locations visited with Wilderness Scotland aligned with its business name by providing a more relaxed journey within nature reserves and gravel back roads.

Wilderness Scotland provided pre departure communications ensuring I was well aware of travel experience requirements for clothing and fitness accompanied by a travel rating to assess capability to safely undertake the mtb outdoor activity. The tour guides were qualified, professional, courteous and had a good sense of humour , a pre requisite for all outdoor activities that entail some challenges and physical demands.

Great cycling, beautiful scenery, delicious meals, great accommodations.
An approximately 2 week tour of the 4 countries in the U.K. Plus Ireland. We started in Yorkshire and cycled through very scenic areas of England, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. It was easy to book the tour. Pre tour communications were clear and informative . Food and accommodations were superb.
