MTB - Coast to Coast by Dave, 2 Aug 2016

Scottish mountain bike trip

Mountain bike trip across Scotland, coast to coast. It was a great way to experience the beauty and natural landscape of the highlands. The scenery, biking and hospitality were of the highest quality. The trip was well managed and designed by Wilderness Scotland.

Walking - Outer Hebrides & Skye by Sky-blue butterfly, 25 Jul 2016
Holiday Rating:

A very enjoyable walking holiday.

The weather in Scotland is notoriously unreliable and, true to form, the first couple of days the mist was so thick that we could not see the mountains at all. Apart from that, our guide was great, my walking companions interesting and fun, and the walking itself enjoyable.

Walking - Glencoe & Highlands by Daniela, 25 Jul 2016
Holiday Rating:

Great experience, very organized, great guide and group!

I went to the Highlands and Glencoe hiking trip. I t was a luxury vacation, we walked during the day and had the nicest hotels and wonderful food. The personnel from the agency are very attentive, they answer promptly all your questions. Our guide was wonderful, very nice, attentive, fun and went up and down those mountains like it was the easiest thing, so he brought water and motivation when needed (especially on higher mountains).

Good walking and wildlife holiday in Shetland.

This was our third trip with Wilderness Scotland. We like the fact that it is a small group of 8 people plus guide. Accommodation and food was good and we covered a good proportion of the islands from North to South. Lots of seabirds and wild flowers. Enjoyed it very much.

Walking - The Orkney Isles by Walking back to happiness, 18 Jul 2016

A life-changing journey

The trip involved exploring the Isles of Orkney from a single base in Kirkwall. Cory, our guide, was superb, and took us on walks and to archaeological sites on a number of the islands. Every logistical consideration was taken care of, from booking ferries to retrieving a guest's jacket left behind in a restaurant, to collecting another guest's suitcase at Kirkwall Airport after it had been lost at Heathrow.
