Excellent times

Had a really lovely time-was surprised it was the first wilderness Scotland tour run on eda fransen with Mungo and Stella as everything ran incredibly smoothly. Was fed huge amounts, had a super comfy bed and got to get a wee bit involved with the sailing. Mark the guide was great, knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Had an amazing group as well.

Wilderness Scotland. I went on a cycling holiday. You only have to look at their website - quality from the descriptions of the holiday - the packing lists, schedules itineraries. The 2 cycling coaches were fabulously professional & relatable had everything covered, including the picnic tables with beautiful table cloths to complement the fabulous beach picnics!! Rode with me 1:1 giving me great tips to get more power from my peddles, bespoke bikes.

Sea Kayaking Introduction Course by SharonM, 5 Sep 2021

Introduction to sea kayaking

A five day introduction to sea kayaking around Loch Torridon in the Scottish Highlands, paddling up to 15-ish km a day. The guides were excellent, I can't believe how much I learned over the course of the holiday. They were patient, encouraging and professional and it's one of the best holidays I've had for a very long time.

Wilderness Scotland kept me informed all the way from booking to the holiday itself. They responded quickly to an email query I had (about whether to bring my wetsuit or not) and emails were useful and clear.

Excellent itinerary, well organised and great personable guides

Although we had a planned itinerary, the guides not only allowed flexibility but encouraged us to do what we were keen to do ,meaning I was able to ride a full circuit of Arran not just the southern half, and on Islay I was able to ride 22 miles to the start of another ride rather than travel in the support vehicle. The usual hotels were not available but the one used instead allowed us to do more than on the original itinerary. Having good weather certainly helped but in providing this holiday, Wilderness Scotland have chosen some fabulous scenic locations, and good places to cycle for even less experienced cyclists. They are more expensive than some alternatives, but you pay for what you get, and the hotels used were excellent quality, there was no skimping on the food, and everything was done with a high degree of professionalism.

Rating for tour operator:

I feel secure, I know I can expect quality, their service from the admin team to the guides is absolutely first class. You do pay a premium, but you know you are getting a quality product.

Ten out of ten. I would award more if I could. Everything organised, planned and nothing was too much trouble. Would go with them for every holiday for the rest of my life if I could!
