Sea Kayaking - Outer Hebrides by Jane , 23 Aug 2021

Fantastic kayaking trip to the Outer Hebrides

I had a fantastic trip with Wilderness Scotland to the Outer Hebrides. We had 3 nights in a bunkhouse, 2 nights camping ( 1 wild camping on Taransay - a first for me) and one in a hotel. Kayaked in the most beautiful scenery with 2 fantastic guides who were able to tell us about the history of the islands and about the wildlife. Sea Kayaking Introduction Course by Leah, 22 Aug 2021

Incredible trip kayaking around Torridon and Applecross in Scotland, seeing beautiful scenery from an entirely different viewpoint while learning something new.

A beginners kayaking trip around some of the most beautiful parts of the West Highland coastline. The accomodation was clean and comfortable in a National Trust bunkhouse, with a small group of people and two excellent guides who went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, looked after, instructed and made the holiday a lot of fun. Loved every minute.

An outstanding way to see Torridon

Kayaking in the Scottish sea lochs gives a completely different view of some otherwise inaccessible parts of the coast enabling you to see nature close up - seals, porpoises, otters and sea eagles often seen very close. The guides were so knowledgeable and expert that absolute beginners quickly developed the skills and confidence to make the most of the trip.

Life changing at sea (kayaking)

I really struggled during covid, feeling very lost and uncertain of the future. Returning back to nature with two very talented sea kayaking guides (Craig and Tim w/ Wilderness Scotland) helped return myself to me. I will forever be grateful for this mindful and naturalistic experience.

Wilderness Scotland. Ran smoothly from the beginning (bar an IT problem right at the start). I loved the way they sourced as much food etc as they could from local suppliers. Great helpful staff.
