Loved our visit to the Outer Hebrides. Wilderness Scotland did an outstanding job of planning our tour and identifying our guide for this trip. We visited Lewis, Harris, and St. Kilda. Great walks every day to scenic areas, beautiful countryside and beaches, wonderful bird and wildlife.

Wonderful experience working with Wildlife Scotland. Our guide, David Russell was outstanding. We will be back as Wilderness Scotland offers a wonderful trip experience, with outstanding guides. Their communication and timely response was very much appreciated as this trip took two years to accomplish due to COVID restrictions. Their price point is very reasonable for the private tour experience we selected. They have an excellent informative website to support planning your trip and to explain exactly what to expect from your tour. Pre-departure information was also extremely helpful.

The trip was a wonderful introduction to the islands of Scotland. It was challenging, interesting, and packed full of beautiful views and kind people. I enjoyed how the terrain changed and how each island differed from the other.

Wilderness Scotland thought of every possible detail and made this one of the best experiences of my life. They were professional, warm, fun, knowledgeable and well-prepared. I would recommend them without hesitation.

We had a terrific experience mountain biking in the Highlands with Wilderness Scotland. Challenging riding, stunning scenery, great food and lodging. Our guides went out of their way to give us an enjoyable and memorable adventure.

Wilderness Scotland is the best! They were very responsive, organized and attentive to our needs. The rental bikes were top notch and well maintained. Their choice of routes and accommodations were spot on.

Every day’s hike was a new series of panoramas. We saw some gorgeous wonders of nature and learned a more historical perspective on the human culture of the Isle of Skye.

John Walker provided expert guidance and superb encouragement every day. He also accommodated our hike to the incidents of COVID we experienced. It was a comfort that he had the strength to haul a couple of us to the top of each hill, but overjoyed that he did not have to!
