Scenic Stunner
Wilds of Assynt had breathtaking views in each hike. We enjoyed coastal, valleys and Big Hill walks.

Caroline is a super funny and encouraging leading who led our first few days in the Highlands. Don is a kind gentleman and had a wealth of knowledge about the area. Both drove the van beautifully challenging roads. They kept our group together and paused at appropriate times for rain gear, water and snack breaks.

Well organized, thorough & timely pre-trip information. Friendly and responsive staff.

Great
If not for the weather, could of been a lot better. This is something out of our control and I know you just have to deal with it.

Aiden Moreno is one of the best we ever came across on all our guided hikes.

Stunning Skye and Hebrides hiking
This trip was marvellous. Seven days of hiking the amazing landscapes of Skye and the Outer Hebrides and I have completely fallen in love with Scotland. I can’t wait to come back and explore more, and will definitely be choosing Wilderness Scotland again.

Wilderness Scotland made the whole process so easy, you just show up and everything is taken care of. Our guide was exceptional, his knowledge of history and his skills as an outdoorsman brought the landscape alive for all of us. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best experience possible.

Wondrful Wilderness Walking
We explored rural parts of Scotland, walking round Glen Affric, visiting Highland rewilding. It was a hugely educational, active and peaceful experience with great company, guide and food.

Isle of Skye and Outer Hebrides (Isles of Harris, Lewis, and Scalpay)
It was incredible from start to finish. The small group tour was well-organized and provided a wonderful opportunity to explore Scottish scenery, enjoy fabulous hikes, meet people - both locals and travellers, taste local cuisine, and stay in comfortable and clean accommodations.

The tour company office answered all email correspondence promptly, and politely. Communication was clear and provided sufficient details to ensure I understood the parameters of the trip before departure. Our tour guide was exceptional - she was knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to our individual needs and our safety.

Orkney Islands hiking tour
Wilderness Scotland guide Laurence Archer led a group of 8 around the Orkney Islands. We met in Inverness and we wandered around the Orkney Islands from van and ferry. The walks along the sites, historic neolithic sites, and museums in the areas were fabulous. interactions amongst the guide and the group members were much fun

Absolutely fantastic experience, despite immense challenges
We booked a tour for hiking on The Isle of Skye. The hikes were just the right level of challenge, and our guide's knowledge of the geology, history, folklore, and flora/fauna of the region was comprehensive. We learned so much! The lodging and food was superb. Cannot recommend more highly!

Wilderness Scotland is amazing. We had a very challenging trip (due to Storm Amy) and our guide and the entire Wilderness Scotland team made sure we had a good time anyway. They were resourceful, and we knew we were in good hands with them. I am not the easiest traveler to plan for, as I have a host of bizarre food allergies - they accommodated me well - and I never felt I was at risk. All questions were answered timely, and completely. And our trip was fantastic.
