Gave a good overview of much of Belarus - rural as well as the ususal urban sights

Started in Minsk. Only 3 of us. We had a driver and English speaking Guide. then went ot various parts of Belarus, probably too many Russian Orthodox churches, but no matter. for me the highlights were a stay in a ssmall town in a Guest House - think I ewas sleeping in the hosts room, bathhouse - tho other washing facilities etc somewhat limited, and a stay in a National Park even though it poured with rain all day. Would have liked longer in both places. However, \I feel we had a good overview of Belarus, which is still quite soviet in some ways. Only problem was traffic nose leading to disturbed nights at some hotels.

Rating for tour operator:

Undiscovered Destinations. Was impressed right at the very beginning bh the comprehensive way they answered my initial enquiries in writing. Other operators may have done as well, of course, but my queries are ususally more limited and can be dealt with on the phone. They have been good - and friendly - whenevre I have contacted them.

This is a fantastic holiday tour and one not to be missed by those who like to travel to "out-of-the-way" places.

Madagascar wildlife experience

Travelling through central and southern Madagascar visiting the various national parks to experience the amazing nature and also get a feel for the culture and Malgasy people. It was very enjoyable experience with the small group and I also spent 10 days travelling on my own.

Wildlife & Friendly People

It was adventurous. The roads were fun--bumpy and subject to flooding and being stuck. The Ugandan people were sweet (for want of a better word). The wildlife was fantastic. Seeing the source of the Nile in Jinja was exciting.

The best holiday I have ever had.

From the moment we got there it was action packed - amazing scenery, idyllic locations, lovely people - a real adventure. No down time - no time to be bored. I loved every minute and was so sad to leave such a beautiful country. We trekked through rainforests, went on river cruises, saw orangutans, elephants, crocodiles, monkeys and Eagles up close. We stayed on a desert island and swam in sea as warm as bath water and watched the most ...

We stayed on a desert island and swam in sea as warm as bath water and watched the most beautiful sunset. It wasn't touristy - it felt like we were seeing the real Borneo. I would recommend anyone to take this trip.

Rating for tour operator:

Very helpful and knowledgeable. I probably wouldn't have booked if they hadn't been so helpful. It's a lot of money to go to an unknown destination so you have to have confidence in your tour operator.

Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan

This was off the beaten track in a remote and glorious part of the world. The homestays in particular gave a whole different perspective on life in the area.
