The itinerary was busy traveling from Georgia, through to Armenia for 4 days, then back to western Georgia seeing the cultural sights and countryside. We criss-crossed the country seeing the highlights, the scenery was varied, especially in Georgia, and there was sufficient variety in places and activity to make it a really interesting tour. We stayed in local hotels or B&Bs which made it far more interesting than being in chain hotels. We throughly enjoyed the tour.

The tour was really well run, the itinerary had been carefully organised to cover distance and interest between places. The guides were extremely well chosen, both were knowledgable and informative and ready to engage in discussion about the country. I would definitely book with Undiscovered Destinations again.

An unusual destination, Moldova does not have the same sort of major highlights as some of its neighbouring countries, therefore does not draw tourists in the same way, making it an intriguing destination for anyone who has an interest in off-the-beaten-track places that are not on the main tourist circuit. A visit to Transdniestr offers a brief insight into a forgotten piece of the old USSR and is well worth an inclusion in the itinerary. Combined with Romania, this trip offered a lot of variety and would appeal greatly to history buffs, lovers of religious archaeology and anyone who wants to find out more about this little corner of Europe.

This was a tour of the Altai region of southern Siberia, with an extra couple of days in Moscow at the end. The local operators used were very efficient and well-organised. We saw lovely scenery in Siberia, and had some interesting tours in Moscow

A very high level of customer service was provided all the way through. It felt like a bespoke personal service rather than booking an organised trip, and it seemed that no query was ever too much trouble. The Russian operators also provided excellent service.

Moldova is certainly an 'undiscovered destination'. There were very few other tourists in the country, and only six on our trip. We were met as promised at the airport, and were well looked after for the five days we were there. Our guide, Ina, couldn't do enough for us. She was knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel we stayed in for most of our holiday was excellent, and well up to western standards, despite the fact the it is in a former Soviet state. The breakfast was outstanding, with especially excellent coffee, which is unusual for a hotel. I feel we saw all the major sights while we were there. The itinerary was well put together. I would travel with this company again, without hesitation.

They were approachable (no messing about with a menu on the phone), helpful and knowledgeable. The booking process was a doddle, and everything went smoothly.

Pamir Highway - the roof of the world - an astonishing adventure in Central Asia that will literally take your breath away. This really is a holiday of a lifetime, and can't image this scenery could be repeated anywhere else..... remarkable and a total privilege to visit such a beautiful country with such hospitable people.
