My wife and I travelled from Kent to Stansted and then onwards to Lourdes. The week was full, rewarding and fulfilling.

Communication was excellent.

The lack of electronic devices added so much to the gentle and warm atmosphere. But there were two incidents which demand serious improvement; the bus used to drive us from the airport to the residential location was in too old a condition to allow for safe conveyance; there were slippery benches lining each side, which threatened people slipping off as there were no seat belts used. The most serious gap was that, though the brochure mentioned that a mat for the shower room was available on request, one on asking for it was not provided and the shower floors are so dangerously slippery that it was unwise for an elderly person to take a shower. These were minor experiences which I know you would appreciate me mentioning for on the whole transport was excellent and the room very comfortable. The coaches which conveyed wheel chair visitors were handled brilliantly. The speed with which wheel chairs were clamped to the bus floor was impressive. The handling of wheel chair visitors was efficient and warm at all times (I suggested that the youngsters who pulled me up the mountain should be provide with donkeys!) The food and its service by the young volunteers was excellent; no two courses were ever repeated and meals were served with charm and kindly attention.

Sasha Blanford was outstanding in her care and efficiency in discreetly dealing in any minor incident. Always charming and upbeat, with the interest of her charges at heart.

A great week, good experience at B'ham airport, not so good at Tarbes -- return flight delayed 2 hours, only 2 staff doing security checks, and only 1 poor young man serving at the cafe, with more than 350 people wanting food or drinks! Lourdes was lovely, good itinerary but very poor organisation at the grotto - lots of the people attending the B'ham Diocese Mass were not from our group and not even English speakers, therefore not enough seats for even half of our group. Not a huge complaint but disappointing not to be able to be together.

Lots of help if needed at airport- easy to find someone to ask a question. Organisers at hotel were very good, coach leaders too.

This was the annual S.O.L.L. pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Both flights were comfortable and enjoyable. I would note that the timing of the first flight was great for myself as it meant that I spent less time waiting at the airport the night before.

Military Pilgrimage to Lourdes is always uplifting seeing all the young military of so many nations praying, and socialising, together.

Local representative always available when needed.

I went to the Holy land for one week. It was peaceful, spiritual and our guide tour talk to us about all the places we were visited. I could hear clearly what he was saying and it was well explain.

Jude our tour guide was excellent.

Walid Salem our tour guide was very helpful and he has went extra miles helping us. Our bus driver was exemplary good drove us to Israel’s roads very safely

A chance to meet and greet like minded people and to reflect on ones religious believes in a historical Christian location.

Extremely tentative to ones needs with excellent communication and attention to detail.
