The fact that the trip was a pilgrimage gave it a sense of purpose. It brought the bible to life and gave one an understanding of the difficulties in the Middle East. A lot was crammed in in a week and there was never a dull moment.

Tangney Tours laid on everything so one didn’t have to think. Unlike most family holidays! It was a wonderful group.

Starting time 4.45am ( to be expected ) but to be of no avail in terms of leaving as our check-in was extremely long and just to make it worse the same happened on our return. Due to fly at 11.00am we finally left at 1.30 pm. We had to wait days to find out that our full board was in fact full board and the same for a blocked sink.

I did not receive my insurance at the first attempt when paid for but was courteously dealt with when I queried it and was given immediate help.

although it was a long trip we did not felt bored, the guide was very professional and entertaining. The driver was excellent. All made the journey pleasurable. The hotel was good.

I travelled to the south of France visiting Lourdes for the first time and was refreshing and beautiful. Spiritually regenerated with the addition of beautiful landscapes, architecture and great company.

Tangney Tours were incredible, accommodating and my tour guide Frances was so lovely and kind definitely made the trip something special

We took a group of 50 disabled people to Lourdes for a week’s pilgrimage

The rep. was so helpful when beastly strikes caused our flight to be delayed.

The whole visit to Lourdes was well organised and well timed to enable our group to take part in the ceremonies and visit all the places important to St Bernadette, without tiring the less physically able members of our group. The only disappointment was the hotel Angelic. Although the food was plentiful, it was not of a good standard. The shower in the bath was in a poor position, making it difficult to use. This hotel is NOT suitable for elderly pilgrims,

From the moment we arrived in Lourdes, we were welcomed by our tour guide (Linda) and everything was well organised. Everything went to time and our guide was most informative and helpful at all times.

The holiday was very good and Fantastically and recommend it to my friends and family and church friends

She was very helpful and showed all around The Saint Bernadette Museum Wich was fantastic

My pilgrimage was blessed beyond measure. Traveling by coach allowed us to see the beauty and we traveled to secluded spots where you couldn’t go by aeroplane. I visited Never, Racamandour and Liseux and then Lourdes just to mention a few!

Reliable , travelled in comfort and had two super drivers who look after us remarkably well all the way. They were respectful, friendly and nothing was too much too ask. They were always smiling and joking around. Just what we needed when traveling for long stretches of time.

We spent four days in Lourdes as an 80th birthday present which included staying at the excellent Eliseo Hotel.

From start to finish we received an excellent service from Tangney Tours. We were met on arrival at Lourdes Airport by Linda Doran who was very welcoming and friendly. The Eliseo Hotel was recommended by Tangney Tours and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the Sanctuary. Linda took us on daily tours and she was extremely knowledgeable of the life and history of Bernadette. She provided an exceptional experience whilst we were in Lourdes. We would highly recommend Tangney Tours based on our recent pilgrimage and are looking to forward to going back again. Visiting the Sanctuary and the Grotto was a truly unbelievable experience which was thoroughly enjoyed by our group.
