It was a pilgrimage of unique importance to me. Firstly, the ticket was a gift to me as I retired from pastoral ministry as a University Chaplain. I wondered why God had inspired this trip to be offered to me. Now I know the Lord wanted to share the sights of His Land with me and to be aware of the outrageous injustices that still exist in Israel. I still have some mission to do for the rest of my life and that is what I now need to work out.

I was kept well informed over a 2-year period of events, about payments, terms and conditions in relation to my pilgrimage etc. Gill was always helpful and polite whenever I called for clarification. The Pilgrimage Guide on the coach was excellent gentle, deeply knowledgeable of the life of Jesus and well acquainted with the culture of the Holy Land

I recently returned from a pilgrimage to the Holy Lands organised by Tangney Tours. The organisation was excellent, all hotels expecting the full group and rooms and room cards all organised. Our guide Sam was incredible with fantastic knowledge and showed great reverence. Daily masses were all planned and went ahead smoothly. We visited Bethlehem, Nazareth, Bethany, Jericho, Sea of Galilee, River Jordan and Jerusalem.

Our guide Sam was exceptional, the whole trip was well planned, and Sam was able to juggle last minute changes.

ON A FEW OCCASSIONS I TELEPHONED AND RECEIVED GOOD AND COURTEOUS SERVICE and ADVICE

We experienced so much in the course if the eight days of pilgrimage, which will stay with us for the rest of our lives. The visits to a whole range of sites were varied and spiritually stimulating. Our daily Masses in so many different venues were memorable and thought-provoking.

We really appreciated the range of visits we experienced. Pre-pilgrimage materials were organised and helpful.

It was a beautiful holiday. The tour guide who we call Sam made the whole trip interesting and pleasant. A little bit tiring but the spiritual and historical knowledge of the tour guide will ever remain with me. Brilliant.

Very courteous when contacted , but I felt I had to chase for information. .Contact & information earlier would have been better, I felt it was all left until the last minute, I don’t know if this was because I was not the lead person and the communication between all parties was poor

The guide was knowledgeable and helpful,; the driver safe and skilful; the hotels good and the food plentiful with several choices. The itinerary was well planned and the experience physically demanding but spiritually refreshing.

Have experienced them several times and found them consistently sound and helpful. Disappointments in the detail were few and trivial

Not really suitable for the elderly and ailing members of the group. A warning that there would be a lot of walking on stairs, slopes and slippery surfaces would have been a good idea.

The guide was very well informed and the accommodation and coach of a good standard. We were well organised at the airports.

Everyone was helpful. It was nice meeting Fr Peter Stott and his group from Newcastle who’ve become good friends.
