We went on a Pilgrimage to Lourdes with our Church so there were over 30 of us. We were all accommodated within the same Hotel and were able to sit near to others from our Church.

Tangney Tours were very helpful and responded to any questions quickly. We would be happy to use them again.

My husband Tony and I had travelled with Tangney before but saw the chance for me as a disabled person to get away and visit Lourdes for the first time . The programme arranged by the Catholic association was excellent and the help I received gave Tony my carer the chance to have some time to himself.

Tangney are reputed as a supplier of pilgrimages and as a wheelchair bound person was well looked after despite the flight lays on both journeys.

Pilgrimage in itself is a challenge, being with other people and meeting others of all creeds. Because behind ig all is the religious aspects when genes to try and be tolerant of everyone, no discord.

One of the biggest religious tour operators and as such the challenge for them to manage and support can. never be easy. They did a good job overall, keeping organised and everything in order and people informed. Disaster on both chartered flights, which did not run according to how Tangney, tour operator had agreed and planned. Kept well informed as delays were extended, the did the best they could to placate everyone, inclosing sick pilgrims.

This was my first pilgrimage to Lourdes and proved both spiritually rewarding and socially brilliant.

Despite many flight delays on both journeys we were kept informed .

Tangney Tours have always delivered what they offered.

The problem was with Ryan airways. I was sitting the back on both journeys, and witnessed the way in which people with additional needs were got on the plane. I was frankly dismayed to see the manner in which this happened. On previous trips to Lourdes with Tangey tours, the carrier acted with dignity and respect and although it took some time to complete boarding was as it should be. I wasn't sure about Ryan Air before the holiday, based on my own experiences with them, but hoped it would be different in a pilgrimage situation.

The tangey tours rep at my hotel went over and above to help me when I realised I had forgotten my phone, and will always remember her kindness

Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Everything was organised to the last detail. We were always kept informed. Everyone was catered for, no matter what their needs. The only problem was using Ryanair who were not at all helpful.
