Utterly loved it. Botswana 11 days, 4 different camps, a perfect sequence/flow chosen by Rob at Safari Consultsnts for us. Could never ever have come up with that itinerary alone. Stunning game in amazing camps, A first safari for my boys 10-16 - a family memory forever.

Rob Slater of Safari Consultants was true excellence. Going above and beyond every time, clearly genuinely caring you had a great time. Took ample time to understand what we needed. Brilliant advice (our start point we'd come with was Namibia in October and he pointed out pros and cons and without pressure suggested alternatives he thought might fit our family better, and was so right. Every detail was perfect from SC. Knowing he was there to call with any questions was so helpful. I have already recommended them and will continue to do so lavishly.

A brilliant trip to introduce our grandsons to Africa providing lots of memories to bring home. Three days of exploring Cape Town and area against blue skies, spotting three species of whales in Hermanus, history and culture in Johannesburg and the Big 5 and more in Madikwe. Thank you for your advice, flexibility in adapting our itinerary and your ability to anticipate and deal with potential difficulties as they arose.

From the beginning to the end, our trip to Zambia was excellent in every respect. Having booked as a family for 2020 we were thrilled to be able to travel at last in 2022. We stayed at three different safari camps, two in South Luangwa, one in Lower Zambezi, and a lodge upstream from Victoria Falls. They were all very different, which was great as it felt as though we had four different holidays almost. What they had in common was comfortable accommodation, delicious food, friendly and efficient staff, lovely scenery, wonderful guiding and amazing wildlife viewing. One of our best holidays ever.

From the very first conversation with Mary of Safari Consultants it was clear that we were in good hands, dealing with an expert who asked all the right questions and listened carefully to our answers. The itinerary she put together and the choices of safari camps she chose were excellent and fully met our needs (exceeded them actually).Through the difficult time when Covid meant the holiday had to be postponed (twice) she kept in touch and kept us fully informed. Whatever arose, Mary was able to help. We had a mini-crisis (nothing to do with the booking with Safari Consultants) but she very rapidly sorted it all out for us. Excellent service.

Cape town for four days, travel to Umkumbe Game lodge near Sabi Sands, travel to Victoria falls, Hwange Bush camp and Vundu Camp in Mana Pools.

Frances Gwyther from Safari Consultants was excellent. She asked us questions ahead of time to help us find the perfect combination of places that filled all of the activities we wanted to do in an affordable price range. She promptly answered questions and did a a great job explaining details of safari life to us first time safari takers. She made excellent suggestions and all the connections were well done and easy to do. The Vamoos app that Safari Consultants uses also came in very handy for keeping track of expenses paid, weather, maps (in the cities) and messages regarding upcoming travel.

The camps in Chobe, Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa were great. Lots of game including lions and leopards. Pleasant staff and accommodations. Good food. Victoria Falls was wonderful from the Zambia and Zimbabwe sides. Short helicopter flight was well worth doing.

Safari Consultants managed to rearrange the details of our trip twice when it got postponed two years in a row due to COVID. Third time was the charm. They did a great job for us, and we highly recommend them.

18 night Self driving tour of Namibia

Great service. Extremely helpful in putting the itinerary together. Excellent supporting material provided for all of the self driving, accommodation and excursions. Very professional operation with friendly staff and good on-going communication.

We booked the "gorillas, big game and open plains" trip with Safari Consultants in 2020, and unfortunately due to covid this was delayed by a year. However, that did not take away from how much we loved our holiday. From start to finish everything was organised to perfection, from the transfers to the hotels/lodges, the whole way through we were taken such great care of. The accommodation in every site was brilliant with exquisite food and service. We visited Uganda and Kenya on our trip and stayed in some wonderful places and met some amazing people. We are already thinking about going back next year!

Safari Consultants helped us choose the best accommodation for our budget and requirements and we could not have been happier. They really took into accounts our preferences and what we wanted out of the trip and were there for us from the start and even helped us during the trip when we had questions. They provided us with all the documents and information we needed on a helpful app that functioned offline to save us carrying lots of paper around. The transfers were seamless and we could not have been happier with the trip. Big thank you to Frances and the team for all their help and hard work!

We opted for a 7 night safari, split over two camps - Kicheche Laikipia and Kicheche Mara Camp. Neither camp disappointed on both the game front and the hospitality and would highly recommend both. Being smaller camps we felt we got much more of a personal service and experience than that of what I had initially been looking at with lodges and hotels.

A safari has been on the bucket list for like what felt forever. After contact with a number of different companies in 2020, I stumbled across Safari Consultants via a Google search and from the first point of contact I never looked back at booking with this company... Our personal travel consultant Mary Grimwood has been nothing short of amazing. When I initially spoke with her during a very thorough telephone conversation she got a full grip of what I was looking for out of the safari experience with the budget I had set and didn't fail in delivering a package that would be suitable. Due to covid and like most the holiday had to be postponed. This however was no issue for Mary who assisted us in moving our holiday to a year later ensuring we we're still going to get everything we wanted. As a result of the very thoroughness of Mary's organisation the whole holiday was a breeze. At every part of the way we were met by the various representatives who took the stress out of the travel for us. Having now sadly returned from our trip, I cannot highly recommend Safari Consultants and Mary for organising our trip. They really do go above and beyond and I would have no doubt in rebooking with them if I am ever lucky and able enough to make a return trip. Excellent company!

A superb trip combining Victoria Falls and two camps in the Okavango Delta, one in Moremi National Reserve and the other in Kanana Concession.

As usual excellent tailored advice on putting the holiday together which more than met my expectations. Very well planned with great on the ground assistance from their local representatives. The value of using a specialist operator of this quality cannot be underestimated in ensuring you get the experiences you are hoping for.

We travelled through 4 Camps each offering very different gaming opportunities and landscape experience. Botswana in the lush season is truly magically nature in its true form. We feel privileged to have been able to experience such an amazing country.
