We started from Maun and visited three camps, Camp Kalahari in Makgadikgadi Pans, Camp Pom Pom Okavango Delta and Camp Lebala Linyanti and flew on to Victoria Falls. Safari Consultants gave us good advice to visit three different areas and experiences in Botswana. All the camps in Botswana and hotel in Victoria Falls were excellent facilities and made even more pleasurable by the service of delightful friendly and efficient staff. We cannot fault any part of the holiday. All international flights and transfers were arranged by Safari Consultants and we had five internal flights which worked perfectly. We were met at Johannesburg International and escorted to catch the flight to Maun. We were met at Kasane airport escorted to the Zimbabwe border and collected from there to Victoria Falls. After the stay at the Falls were were escorted to Victoria Falls airport for our flight to Johannesburg and on to London Heathrow.

We obtained quotes from a number of tour agents all with good reputations and some we had used before without any issues. However we found Safari Consultants via the internet and did not have any experience of their service. We liked all three quotes and they were all in the same ball park price wise. We decided to use Safari Consultants because they came up with alternative ideas, were prepared to replan to meet our budget and gave us the pros and cons of each option. We felt they had a more intimate relationship with the companies in Botswana and gave advice from personal experience and not just asking questions and waiting for answers from the companies.

A beautiful country, superb camps and amazing wildlife and birds both in the dryer bush of the South Luangwe NP and on the Lower Zambezi.

Safari Consultants have organised a number of trips for our group, their attention to detail and understanding of exactly what it is that we enjoy has resulted in some superb trips; travel arrangements work smoothly, with no fuss & instructions are very clear. It is all extremely professionally handled.

An excellent trip stopping at three sites: Mkulumadzi Lodge, Majete Wildlife Reserve; Kuthengo Camp, Liwonde National Park. Game drives twice a day or all day if preferred. The tents had superb views, balconies, very spacious with all mod cons. Then onto Pumulani Lodge, tucked up into the hill, overlooking Lake Malawi. All excellent places to stay. Lots of wildlife at the first two, one day having a breeding herd of elephants right in front of the lounge Banda, by the edge of the river. At Pumulani Lodge, a relaxing place to stay. Swim in two pools and lake, take part in water sports, snorkelling and sunset cruises. Sit under beautiful mango trees and forest watching the birds, baboons and monkeys. All the staff, managers, guides and drivers were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. It always amazes me how the cooks can produce such fantastic food in these bush camps!

Safari Consultants did a great job planning a 10 night trip for my sister and I. She had never been to Africa so this was her first safari. We started at Tongabezi Lodge which is a wonderful place to decompress after your long flight and then we went to Lower Zambezi National Park to Chiawa and Old Mondoro Camps. The level of guiding and animal sightings is truly amazing and their staff and accommodations are first class.

I have used Safari Consultants for over 15 years for all my Africa travel. Their attention to detail to deliver a totally seamless unforgettable safari experience is truly amazing. Our recent journey through Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar was nothing short of transformative. We began in Uganda, where we trekked into the misty rainforest of Bwindi to come face to face with mountain gorillas—a breathtaking and humbling experience that’s impossible to describe. The views from our veranda looked out over the dense jungle canopy, and nearby visits to the Batwa community and local school added rich cultural depth. The people we met in Bwindi were warm, generous, and welcoming—it truly felt like stepping into a community that embraces visitors with open arms. From there, we explored the sweeping savannahs of the Masai Mara, where each day on safari brought moments of awe. We witnessed incredible wildlife—lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs—and soaked in the quiet magic of sunrise game drives and golden evenings in the bush. The accommodations were beautiful, and the guides were deeply knowledgeable and respectful of the land and animals. To end our journey, we relaxed on the beaches of Zanzibar, where turquoise waters, soft sands, and peaceful days offered the perfect place to reflect and unwind. The contrast from the wild to the coast was seamless, and every part of the journey felt intentional and nourishing. This wasn’t just a vacation—it was an experience full of adventure, connection, and meaning. From the natural beauty to the heartfelt human moments, it’s a trip we will carry with us forever.

Working with Kelly was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The transfer to the Safarilink plane was quick and efficient, great staff who communicated clearly with next steps- and even checked our luggage for us. The great experience continued all the way through to our Safari and thanks to Kelly listening to our needs and what we were looking for, Offbeat Mara was the perfect fit for our honeymoon and it felt so magical (go over to their Google reviews to see my review for offbeat specifically!).

Kelly made our first Safari trip a breeze- she did all the organising and went above and beyond to cater to our needs and budget. She set out all options for us really clearly, and was happy when we spoke about booking some elements eg flights by ourselves- I really appreciated the opportunity to be honest without it feeling awkward. Having coming back from Safari I can truly appreciate everything Kelly organised for us- after arriving on a long overnight plane, we were fast tracked through Nairobi airport, having help with all the systems and baggage. All the documents and guides Kelly and the team provided in advance made it really easy to know what to pack, what the rules were (eg for tipping or what we need to do for a visa) and it was so easily accessible on their website ctm system or via email. Echoing all other 5* reviews on here. We were totally blown away with our honeymoon trip to South Africa, organised by Frances at Safari Consultants. Frances was incredible efficient, helpful and trustworthy in putting together our itinerary. At each point throughout our trip, we were met by someone to help us to our next destination. Safari in Kenya,

Frances at Safari Consultants organised, booked and managed the holiday brilliantly. Everything from transfers to flights and camps was perfect. Fri=om the moment we arrived in Kenya to the moment we left, everything was done and worked seamlessly.

Extremely well planned by Safari Consultants who recommended excellent places to stay and arranged all the complicated travel arrangements seamlessly. All the places we stayed at (Primate Lodge and Bwindi Lodge in Uganda and Kicheche Mara North in Kenya) were amazing and the staff incredibly welcoming who also did all that they could to make our stay truly magical. Nothing really was left to chance and we felt in very safe hands throughout our stay. Also all the amazing wildlife and scenery we saw on the trip certainly did not disappoint with being a few metres from Silverbacks and a pride of Lions particular highlights.

Extremely knowlegdeable of the various areas and options available and very accommodating of our requirements. All the complicated transfers between camps and lodges were handled seamlessly and everyone was well briefed on for example dietary requirements and whatw e were looking to get out of the trip. All the partners they chose for us looked after us extremely well.
